About
Accommodation
As a tri-deck yacht, there are two dedicated lounges on the main and upper decks. The larger main deck salon offers space and dining with the spectacular skylounge above a more private option with incredible views from its elevated position and huge glass sections.
The exact layout of the salons is flexible, open to the Owner’s taste and needs.
The pilothouse design creates a very professional helm station on the upper deck, as well as the Captain’s cabin and office. The raised position creates good visibility forward with a vast spread of MFDs delivering views to the side and aft as well as touch screen instruments. The finish is dark and serious with seating for guests or crew. There is a door to the foredeck with easy access to the bridge from any part of the yacht.
The Owner’s stateroom lies forward of the salon on the main deck, a real superyacht feature, the elevated position creates incredible views from the large windows and a sense of privacy from the four guest cabins below decks.
Sunseeker likes to push the Owner’s en suite right forward, in the bows, leaving the wider part of the yacht for the cabin itself. The cabin feels big with space to enjoy, a study, dressing area and walk-in closet are all features, but, again, there is a good deal of flexibility on the final finish and layout.
The four guest cabins are all ensuite with two doubles and two twins. The crew quarters lie forward, with four bunked cabins and a decent mess area.
On Deck
The tri-deck design relates to three separate exterior decks, with two tiers of aft deck terraces for dining and lounges and a full sundeck at the very top of the yacht. With so much space to play with on the sun deck, layout can follow the Owner’s style, with guaranteed space for a bar, lounge, dining table and a Jacuzzi.
The upper deck aft runs off the sky lounge and presents a more private place to retreat to, again with lots of options on layout. For something more fun and exposed, the foredeck lounge is the place. When underway, this elevated lounge is exhilarating, but in port, when the yacht is moored stern-to, it is usefully private.
Amenities & Tenders
The tenders enjoy a spacious garage at the stern with space for a good-sized RIB and two PWCs.
Performance & Capabilities
The Sunseeker 131 is a planing yacht powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 M93 engines providing 3140hp each with a top speed of 23knots. For efficient or long-distance cruising, the 131 has optional extended fuel tanks that take fuel capacity from 21,650l to 26,700l extending the range from 1500nm to over 2000nm at 11knots.
From The Manufacturer
The 131 Yacht is a tri-deck yacht which demands attention. From her distinctive profile to the sheer scale of her interior space, she is one of the finest examples of modern-day superyacht design and craftsmanship. Seemingly endless layout options and the ability for owners to personalise at almost every turn means that no two yachts are the same. Yet whether out at sea or nestled within the harbour, she has a distinctive presence that is unrivalled by any other.
Exterior deck arrangements use deep lounge style seating to provide the ultimate in comfort for owners and their guests. In addition to this, the external Skydeck and Upper Deck Aft Cockpit have been lengthened by approximately two metres creating additional deck space, accommodating new bar and seating layouts and extra features including a fridge, ice maker and sink. Lower down, the spacious garage can accommodate a tender of up to 6.0m in length plus two PWCs.
Based on the classic Sunseeker deep V hull, this large tri-deck yacht is equally comfortable operating at 10 knots for an extended cruising range of 1,500 nautical miles or at 23 knots for ultimate performance. Sean Robertson, Sales Director at Sunseeker International said: "We’re delighted to unveil these incredible new images of the 131 Yacht and show everyone what a special vessel it is going to be. It’s set to really build on the success of our proven 40 Metre Yacht platform, adding more technical innovation, more advanced features and contemporary layouts that can be tailored in every way to meet the needs of our most discerning customers."
