Design & Construction
Designed around a deep vee GRP hull and a carbon fibre superstructure she features a 6.59m beam and a 1.93m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 145 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The Azimut Grande 27M Aluminia Too has the sharp, high-volume profile that defines Stefano Righini’s later Grande series designs. The near-vertical bow gives the yacht a modern stance, while the long bands of dark glazing break up the height of the superstructure and pull the eye aft toward the flybridge. Despite the internal volume, the profile stays low and fast-looking thanks to the sweeping lines and cutaway bulwarks along the main deck.
Large floor-to-ceiling windows run through the salon and owner’s areas, reducing the amount of visible GRP and creating a much lighter visual balance. The raised pilothouse blends smoothly into the hardtop and flybridge structure, so the upper decks feel integrated rather than stacked heavily above the hull.
The aft section opens into a fold-out beach club arrangement with a garage for water toys and Jet Ski handling equipment. Teak extends across the exterior decks, including the bow lounging space and flybridge, while the upper deck itself combines sunpads, dining areas and a Jacuzzi beneath the protection of the hardtop. Carbon fibre construction in the upper structure allows the yacht to carry these larger exterior spaces without adding excessive top weight.
Interior Design
Inside, Aluminia Too follows the lighter contemporary approach developed by Achille Salvagni Architetti for the Grande series. Large side windows bring strong natural light deep into the salon, while soft neutral finishes and clean-lined furniture help the interior feel open rather than overly formal.
The main salon uses an open-plan arrangement with connected lounge and dining spaces facing outward toward the sea. Floor-to-ceiling glazing and lowered bulwarks improve seated sightlines from inside, so the water remains visible throughout much of the deck. Electric fabric curtains, upgraded lighting and backlit synthetic onyx panels running from the main deck lobby to the lower accommodation add a more polished evening atmosphere without making the interior feel heavy.
The galley has upgraded Miele appliances, dual wine coolers and additional pantry equipment suited to longer stays onboard.
Accommodation
Aluminia Too accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins, including a main deck owner’s suite, two VIP cabins and two twin guest cabins. The arrangement gives the yacht stronger guest capacity than many yachts in this size range while still keeping good separation between owner, guest and crew areas.
The full-beam owner’s suite sits forward on the main deck and includes an oversized master bed, dressing area, vanity desk and substantial storage. Large windows bring natural light into the cabin and strengthen the connection to the sea outside.
Below deck, the two VIP suites and twin cabins continue the same light contemporary styling seen throughout the yacht. The twin cabins increase flexibility for family use or charter operation, while all guest cabins have their own en suite bathrooms.
Crew accommodation supports up to four crew members, with an additional bunk arrangement in the captain’s cabin allowing greater operational flexibility during longer cruising periods.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (R V12) 12-cylinder 1,900hp engines, motor yacht Aluminia Too is capable of reaching a top speed of 27 knots, and comfortably cruises at 24 knots.
