Key Features

  • Classic canoe stern profile
  • Traditional Benetti styling
  • 2,800nm cruising range
  • Large shaded flybridge

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 5.55m beam and a 3.3m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 115 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Amphitrite carries the unmistakable profile of a classic Benetti displacement yacht from the 1970s, with a long low silhouette, canoe stern, and restrained superstructure proportions that feel very different from modern high-volume yachts. Built in 1973 by Benetti with in-house naval architecture and exterior styling, her lines lean heavily into the traditional “gentleman’s motor yacht” look, while the 2022 refit has kept the presentation fresh without stripping away the yacht’s original character.

The profile stays clean and horizontal from bow to stern. A slightly raked bow leads into a full-displacement hull designed for steady long-range cruising, while the rounded canoe stern softens the aft profile and gives the yacht a more graceful finish at the waterline. Unlike modern yachts that rely on oversized glazing, Amphitrite uses evenly spaced rectangular windows and classic portlights, which suit the yacht’s age and traditional styling.

Her white hull and superstructure pair with teak decks and polished detailing throughout the exterior spaces. The aft deck sits beneath the flybridge overhang and creates a shaded outdoor dining space connected directly to the saloon. Above, the flybridge is notably large for a yacht of this size and includes open lounging areas protected by a fixed awning structure and removable bimini top. The upper deck retains excellent outward visibility without feeling crowded by oversized furniture or equipment.

Wide side decks and uncluttered walkaround access reinforce the yacht’s practical cruising nature, while the low superstructure keeps the profile balanced and understated underway.

Interior Design

The interior of Amphitrite combines classic yacht detailing with lighter contemporary updates introduced during the 2022 refit. Interior styling by Luca Catino preserves the yacht’s traditional warmth while improving brightness and comfort across the guest areas.

The main saloon benefits from large rectangular windows on both sides, which pull natural light deep into the interior. Forward within the saloon is a formal dining area centred around a marble-topped dining table seating six guests, expandable to eight when required. The arrangement feels open and sociable, helped by the direct sightlines aft toward the exterior deck.

Ahead of the dining space sits the main lounge, arranged around an L-shaped sofa, armchair pouf, coffee table, and a 65-inch television. The layout feels relaxed and residential, while polished wood trim, cream furnishings, and soft neutral fabrics maintain a lighter atmosphere than many yachts of this era.

Throughout the interior, the refit focused on refinement rather than complete reinvention. Original joinery and proportions remain intact, so the yacht still carries a strong sense of her Benetti heritage. Large windows, clean ceiling lines, and restrained decorative detailing prevent the interior from feeling overly heavy.

Accommodation

Amphitrite accommodates up to six guests across three staterooms, with additional accommodation for up to four crew members.

The full-beam master suite is the yacht’s primary cabin and includes a central double bed with generous surrounding floor space and integrated storage. Large windows and light finishes help the cabin feel bright and open despite the yacht’s traditional layout.

The remaining guest accommodation continues the same calm, understated style, with comfortable cabins finished in neutral tones, polished wood accents, and ensuite bathrooms. The overall arrangement prioritises usable space and privacy over maximum cabin count, which suits the yacht’s slower-paced long-range cruising character.

Crew accommodation supports up to four crew members and remains separated from the guest areas to maintain privacy onboard.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel GM (12V71N) 480hp engines, motor yacht Amphitrite is capable of reaching a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 20,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,800 nautical miles at 12 knots.
