The 30m motor yacht Anam Cara was delivered to her owners in 2006 by American shipyard Ocean Alexander. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Ed Monk Yacht Design, while Jon Pokela is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.75m beam and a 1.65m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 162 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the 98 Motoryacht design.

Accommodation

Anam Cara offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 2 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000) 1,500hp engines, motor yacht Anam Cara is capable of reaching a top speed of 20 knots, and comfortably cruises at 18 knots. With her 18,184 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,620 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
