Designed in collaboration with Evan K. Marshall, who handled both exterior and interior design, with naval architecture by Ocean Alexander’s in-house team, the limited edition Ocean Alexander 28E yacht is distinguished by its efficient volume-focused profile and flexible spaces for extended cruising.
The main deck is anchored by an on-deck owner’s suite, a feature rare for a yacht of this size, with expansive windows that bring in natural light. Designer furnishings selected by Evan K. Marshall shape the interior with a balance of elegance and practicality, giving the yacht a residential comfort suited to long stays on board.

The flex room, included as standard in the Explorer series, will serve this particular owner as a private office for extended trips away from the dock. Owners who compared multiple brands during sea trials cited the 28E’s interior space planning as one of the key deciding factors, describing the design as one that “works for real life.”

Outdoor living has been prioritized on board the motor yacht with multiple social zones, including a large aft deck and an upper skylounge that opens to panoramic views. The design caters to versatility, with areas that can be adapted for relaxation, dining, or entertainment while cruising Florida waters or venturing further afield to the islands and Northeast.

Ocean Alexander’s Explorer series as a whole has been praised for delivering “greater volume, flexible exterior zones, and effortless operation,” in the words of Dan Mundy, Head of Global Operations at the shipyard.

In addition to the on-deck master, the superyacht accommodates guests across four lower deck staterooms, each with en suite facilities. A private skylounge provides another retreat for guests, enhancing privacy across the decks. Crew are accommodated separately in generous quarters, a feature often associated with larger yachts, further underlining the shipyard’s emphasis on practical luxury.

The 28E was conceived as part of Ocean Alexander’s Explorer line, designed for efficient cruising without compromising comfort. The final hull delivered continues that legacy, with a profile engineered to maximize interior volume while maintaining performance suited for extended itineraries.

Delivery was handled with support from MarineMax Yacht Center in Pompano Beach, whose representative Michael Tyrrell introduced the clients at a major boat show, and Ocean Alexander’s commissioning partners at East Coast Yacht Group in Fort Lauderdale.

Her new owners plan to keep the yacht in Florida, with seasonal cruising across the islands and potential journeys to the Northeast, supported by the flexible spaces and reliable operation the series is known for.
