The 120'1" motor yacht Wreckless was delivered to her owners in 2017 by American shipyard Ocean Alexander. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Evan K Marshall, while Evan Marshall is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 25'3" beam and a 6'7" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 287 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the second yacht built on the 120 Megayacht design. She was completed at Ocean Alexander's Kaohsiung yard in Taiwan where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Exterior Design
In 2023, a refit refreshed this 2018 Ocean Alexander tri-deck, boasting a newly painted white hull and superstructure, along with refurbished teak decks and fittings.
The high-raked bow features a chamfered edge leading to a sheltered foredeck with built-in sun pads. A brief staircase leads to a generous U-shaped seating area with banquette seating and a versatile table, integrated into the Portuguese deck.
The hull boasts ample glazing, while a sleek black bootstrap accentuates the water's edge. Extensive glazing on the main deck, ending in an arrowhead shape, ensures ample natural light. The side profile of Long Aweighted features a dynamic forward rising flow, with curved sections on the forward quarter decks extending to the sun deck.
The sun deck offers partial shade from the radar mast canopy and features a raised circular spa tub with teak surround, sun lounging areas, a spacious U-shaped sofa, and a semi-circular bar. Built-in cabinetry provides all the necessary amenities. Soft greys dominate the color palette, with vibrant pops of green and black in the cushions. The coffee table and bar top are crafted from elegant grey granite.
At the stern, twin staircases lead to an ample fixed bathing platform, while a large transom door reveals the amenities of a beach club, including a stylish wet bar, ice machines, dive lockers, and a day head with shower.
Interior Design
The interiors of Long Aweighted are contemporary and elegant, featuring a blackjack table in the salon as a focal point, on a stylish chequered patterned floor. The color palette is neutral, with soft greys and ocean blue hues contrasting against dark wood flooring. Stylish cabinetry with an Art Deco vibe adds to the sophisticated ambiance.
Accommodation
There are five staterooms onboard Long Aweighted, each with an ensuite. The owner's stateroom with a king-sized berth is located on the main deck. Below decks are two VIP staterooms with queen-sized berths and two more guest staterooms with single berths. Six crew are onboard to ensure a full guest service.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M96L) 16-cylinder 2,600hp engines, motor yacht Wreckless is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 7,000 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,234 nautical miles at 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
In addition, adjoining the water, a beach club lets those on board enjoy the feeling of being close to the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort, while underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down. Wreckless also features an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
