Atali is a 92' catamaran yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Wider Yachts in 2024. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of LUCA DINI Design & Architecture, while Wider Yachts is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a catamaran GRP hull and superstructure she features a 39'4" beam and a 5'5" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 242 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the second yacht built on the WiderCat 92 design. Launched in July 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Wider Yachts' Wider Fano Shipyard yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Exterior Design
Atali's exterior design emphasizes spaciousness, functionality, and luxurious amenities. The main deck spans over 100 square meters, with half dedicated to the expansive master stateroom. Customization options include the potential addition of a jacuzzi on the upper deck and an extra cabin on the lower deck. Aft access points feature the galley and crew spaces on one side, with stairs leading to the bridge. Mirrored VIP cabins are situated in the portside and starboard hulls, ensuring luxurious accommodations for guests.
The cockpit provides ample space with separate tables and a large lounger, shielded from wind by a glass section. Wide side decks accommodate sun loungers, while the foredeck offers storage under the windscreen and space for jet skis, facilitated by a crane. The sun pad area on the foredeck is perfect for enjoying sunset views.
Moving to the upper aft deck, designed for entertainment, guests find a spacious bar, comfortable lounges, and controls for yacht operations. This area also includes a separate grill and additional storage for enhanced convenience.
On the lower deck, a generous tender garage accommodates a 5.5-meter tender or a 4.5-meter tender with a jet ski. The garage door lowers to create a bathing platform, with a zip-in section covering the storage area. The expansive 67 square meters beach club features drop-down balconies at water level, providing direct access to the VIP cabins.
ATALI is equipped with 170 square meters of solar panels across its decks and wheelhouse, maximizing solar energy utilization. Advanced features such as Dynamic Positioning and an electronic anchor system enable environmentally friendly operations, including Zero Emission Mode while at anchor, ensuring minimal impact on marine ecosystems.
Interior Design
For WiderCat 92 #2, the owners were heavily involved with the customization and chose light tones and natural materials to amplify brightness through large windows. Soft fabrics and earthy-toned leathers further contribute to a welcoming and inviting ambiance.
The interior design of WiderCat 92 #2 focuses on spaciousness and functionality. The main deck saloon features a large round dining table versatile for dining, drinks, or games, complemented by ample seating on the starboard side and a discreetly positioned day head. The ceiling design incorporates recurring roundel motifs for visual consistency without overwhelming the space.
In contrast, the upper saloon, situated behind the bridge, offers an intimate setting perfect for evening relaxation, complete with comfortable seating and a TV. It maintains cohesion with the main saloon through shared design elements.
The galley, while primarily functional, reflects the yacht's meticulous design standards. It includes ample storage, countertop induction cooking, an oven, microwave, and large refrigerator. Accessible from the main deck and connected to the crew staircase, it ensures efficient service. A side door provides direct crew access to the port side deck, minimizing guest disturbance.
Accommodation
The owner's suite features a centrally located bed for easy movement, ample headroom, large windows for spectacular views and natural light, and twin bathrooms
There are two VIP cabins in the port and starboard hulls, each with a large bed, big windows, and large private bathrooms. Each VIP cabin features access to a private terrace through watertight doors, perfect for swimming or paddleboarding, and connecting to the main platform for a private beach club feel.
The third guest cabin has individual beds with ample space between the beds and high-quality details like leather-covered lights and a small bureau.
The crew area accommodates four members, divided between the two hulls. The captain's cabin in the port hull includes a single bed with an additional pullman berth, a private bathroom, a bureau, and hanging storage. The crew mess is equipped with modern amenities, natural light, a dinette with a drop-down table, and a TV, along with good oversight and control of the boat systems, including camera monitoring.
Performance & Capabilities
The hybrid propulsion system remains a key feature of the WiderCat 92, with twin electric motors delivering 500kW each to the thrusters and two 349kW variable speed generators for electrical energy production. This allows cruising in ZEM (Zero Emission Mode) with a range of 27 nautical miles at 6 knots in complete silence, or 14 hours autonomy on battery power at anchor. On bright, sunlit days, the 75 m² of solar panels on the WiderCat 92 can ensure full energy self-sufficiency when anchored.
Motor catamaran yacht Atali is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 10,000-liter fuel tanks, she has a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles at 8 knots.
