Design & Construction

Designed around a deep vee GRP hull and a carbon fibre superstructure she features a 6.59m beam and a 1.93m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 115 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Dabmar, the Azimut Grande 27 Metri, presents a striking profile with a black hull, white superstructure, and matching white boot stripe. Her exterior design comes from Stefano Righini, who introduced a widebody layout that makes the most of the yacht’s 26.78m (87.9ft) length. Sharp-edged styling, a vertical bow, and tall, full-height windows running up into the superstructure give her a strong, contemporary look with plenty of visual presence.

Carbon fiber is used extensively across the yacht’s structure. This includes the hardtop, roll-bar, flybridge, superstructure, and transom, while the deck is constructed from a mix of carbon and glass fiber. This lightweight material choice reduces overall weight and improves performance, allowing for more internal space without compromising balance or efficiency.

Outdoor spaces are designed for both privacy and socialising. At the bow, a large lounge and sunbathing area feels like a sea-facing terrace - ideal for relaxing at anchor or underway. The flybridge features a second helm, a bar, and a comfortable dinette setup. Aft, the terrace is arranged as an open-air lounge.

The widebody layout gives Dabmar an expansive owner’s suite on the main deck.

Interior Design

The interiors of Dabmar reflect a strong design vision shaped by Achille Salvagni. Drawing on his experience in London and New York, Salvagni introduces a residential tone to the yacht, with soft curves, flowing forms, and refined contrasts in color and texture. His work moves away from anything showy, instead favouring muted pastels, subtle wallpaper tones, and upholstery from renowned textile house Dedar, selected exclusively for Azimut.

Salvagni’s approach has often been described as a fresh take on Italian Renaissance sensibilities, updated for a modern context. Every element inside Dabmar has been conceived as part of this flowing visual language - including made-to-measure furnishings handcrafted by skilled artisans. Alternatively, owners may select pieces from Salvagni’s curated collection, which highlights high-end Italian craftsmanship.

The layout creates a natural sense of openness throughout the saloons and communal areas. The integration between lines and materials feels deliberate rather than decorative. This is particularly evident in how structural elements flow into living spaces, helped along by the large windows that bring in ample natural light and connect the interior with its surroundings.

At the helm, the captain benefits from Electronic Power Steering with adjustable sensitivity, and an Active Trim Control system that automatically manages trim to maximise efficiency. Navigation and onboard systems are monitored via Naviop’s integrated platform, known for its robust performance and reliability.

Accommodation

One of the defining features of the Grande 27 Metri is its ability to offer five guest cabins - a rare feature in this size category. The owner's suite is positioned forward on the main deck and benefits from the full beam of the yacht, with expansive windows providing plenty of natural light. A walk-in wardrobe and a large en suite bathroom complete this private space.

Below deck, the layout can accommodate up to four further guest cabins, depending on the configuration. Across these cabins, the yacht can host a total of up to 10 guests, supported by ample storage and well-considered spatial flow.

Crew accommodation is also thoughtfully arranged. Two crew cabins and two crew bathrooms are located in the forward section, accompanied by a dedicated mess area. This setup provides space for a crew of up to three, supporting both discreet service and longer passages with ease.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (R V12) 12-cylinder 1,900hp engines, motor yacht Dabmar is capable of reaching a top speed of 28 knots, and comfortably cruises at 24 knots. With her 9,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 248 nautical miles at 24 knots.

With a vertical bow and seamless glazing, Dabmar cuts a bold figure on the water.
