More Details

The 43m motor yacht La Sirena was delivered to her owners in 2000 by Christensen. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Christensen, while Setzer Design Group is responsible for her interior design.

Key Features

  • 43m (141ft) Christensen motor yacht
  • Country-style galley with dinette
  • Flybridge jacuzzi with sunpads
  • Enclosed aft deck with dining

Design & Construction

Designed around a modified deep vee composite hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 2.1m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 360 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 1998. She was delivered to her owners in March 2000.

Exterior Design

The 43m (141ft) Christensen motor yacht La Sirena uses a raised pilothouse layout, and it combines a flared bow with a long, clean sheerline and a balanced superstructure. The GRP hull and superstructure are finished in white, and dark window bands run through the profile, so the volume reads lighter than the dimensions suggest.

The bow carries a broad working deck with anchor gear forward, and just aft of this a dedicated lounge area is built in with a U-shaped settee and open space for loose seating, so it works as a forward social zone as well as a practical deck. The pilothouse sits raised above, and the superstructure steps back across multiple levels, creating layered exterior spaces.

Aft, the main deck connects directly to an enclosed aft deck, and this area uses a teak and holly sole with fixed seating and a dining table for eight, so it extends the interior living space while remaining protected. Below, the swim platform sits close to the water and can be used as a casual cockpit area with loose furniture.

Up on the flybridge, the layout is split into clear zones, with lounge seating aft, a central jacuzzi flanked by sunpads, and a bar and dining area forward. This deck also carries tender and PWC storage to starboard, supported by a davit system.

Across all levels, the exterior layout spreads guest areas between the foredeck, aft deck, and flybridge, so there is no single focal point and each space serves a defined use.

Accommodation

La Sirena accommodates up to eight guests across four cabins.

The master suite is located on the main deck, and it uses a full-beam layout with a king-size bed, desk, seating area, and multiple storage options. The en suite is arranged as a his-and-hers setup, and it includes full facilities along with additional storage.

On the lower deck, two VIP cabins each feature queen-size beds and en suite bathrooms, while a fourth guest cabin includes a queen bed with a Pullman berth above, so it can accommodate additional guests when needed.

Crew accommodation supports up to seven crew, and it includes dedicated cabins, laundry facilities, and service areas to maintain operation without affecting guest spaces.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel DDC/MTU (16V-2000's) 16-cylinder 1,800hp engines, motor yacht La Sirena is capable of reaching a top speed of 19 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 38,793 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at 14 knots.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. La Sirena also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
