Design & Construction

Designed around a fast displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.9m beam and a 2.15m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 345 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the eighth yacht built on the Moonen 122 Martinique design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in March 2026 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.

Exterior Design

Lollipop is a 37.4m (122ft 8in) Moonen 122 Martinique, built in steel with exterior lines by René van der Velden and naval architecture from Diana Yacht Design. The profile is low and stretched, with long horizontal glazing bands that run cleanly through the superstructure and connect the decks visually.

The bow is upright rather than aggressively raked, which suits the yacht’s long-range brief, while the hull carries a series of rectangular windows set low along the waterline. The superstructure steps back in clean layers, with deep overhangs that provide shade to the decks below.

Outdoor spaces are spread across three levels. The aft deck connects directly to the main saloon and provides a sheltered dining and seating area. Above, the bridge deck extends this with additional lounge space and open views aft. The sun deck adds a more open setup, with space for seating, sunbathing, and a Jacuzzi specified as part of the owner’s custom brief.

At water level, the swim platform has been extended to around 20m² (215ft²) and includes Z-lift swim stairs, which improve access in and out of the water.

Interior Design

The interior is by Vripack Yacht Design, marking the first Martinique in the series to carry their work. The approach focuses on layout changes as much as finish, with mechanical systems repositioned to free up space and improve sightlines.

The palette centres on blues and greys, paired with walnut joinery. The walnut has a strong grain and density, so it adds weight and texture across bulkheads and cabinetry. Blue tones reference Delft blue and appear in feature elements such as the dining area wall, where the pattern is intentionally incomplete to create a softer visual effect.

The main saloon and dining area benefit from wide glazing, so natural light carries through the full beam. The dining space integrates a feature wall and built-in storage, keeping the layout clean without losing detail.

A central staircase links the decks and uses a restrained mix of grey, walnut, and polished blue. The design avoids heavy sculptural forms and instead relies on contrast and finish to define the space.

The galley and pantry are both larger than typical for this size, set up to support full-service dining with increased storage and working space.

Accommodation

Lollipop accommodates 10 guests across a layout centred on a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck. This suite measures 37m² (398ft²) and sits forward, with large windows giving 180° views.

The bed is positioned to face aft rather than forward, which opens up clearer sightlines through the glazing and avoids the bow obstructing the view. Storage is built into the room in both conventional and hidden forms, including shelving that doubles as stowage.

Guest cabins are arranged on the lower deck across 2 VIP cabins and 2 twin cabins, each with en suite bathrooms and additional storage integrated into the design. The layout prioritises usable space and practical detailing rather than decorative excess.

Crew areas for 7 are separated to support service flow, with direct access routes that keep operations clear of guest spaces.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32) 1,925hp engines, motor yacht Lollipop is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 35,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots.
