Seventh 37m Moonen 122 Martinique Motor Yacht Sold

Dutch shipyard Moonen Yachts has confirmed the sale of the 37m motor yacht Martinique 07.

The transaction was handled internally by representatives from Moonen Yachts and IYC, with Matthew Stone acting on behalf of the buyer and Josh Marshall providing additional sales support. The hull marks the seventh unit in the Moonen 122 Martinique series.

The buyer, an experienced American yachtsman, selected the Moonen 122 Martinique after narrowing a shortlist of shipyards from six to three. Ultimately, Moonen's approach to customization and client service secured the deal. According to Stone, the shipyard's flexibility was instrumental - especially when the client chose to delay delivery to implement a range of bespoke modifications.

The superyacht also marks the second successful in-house sale since Moonen and IYC formalized their global sales partnership. Richard Gray, Moonen Yachts’ Global Representative and Head of Sales UK, highlighted the sale as a positive reflection of the close working relationship between the two firms, as well as the wider success of the Martinique line.

The Moonen 122 Martinique stands out for its layout and the ease with which it links indoor living areas to the sea. Its exterior design is the work of René van der Velden, while naval architecture comes from Diana Yacht Design. The model is known for its large windows, well-proportioned decks, and thoughtful spatial planning that promotes an uninterrupted flow between inside and out.

The interior design of the yacht is being overseen by the Dutch studio Hollander Yacht Design. In keeping with Moonen’s reputation for high-end craftsmanship and custom interiors, the client has already requested several alterations, including the addition of a Jacuzzi. Technical Director Nicky van Zon confirmed that other modifications are being made to suit the client’s specific lifestyle and onboard preferences.
