Design & Construction

Designed around a deep vee GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.9m beam and a 1.45m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 297 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the Maiora 36 Exuma design. She was completed at Maiora's Fipa Group yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.

Exterior Design

Designed in collaboration with Quartostile, the Maiora 36 Exuma series embraces a bold explorer aesthetic, with this fifth hull continuing the signature look that helped define predecessors like Pesa II and Tofan. Constructed in GRP by the Italian shipyard Maiora, part of Next Yacht Group, the yacht’s profile balances muscular presence with elegant flow, favouring powerful curves and fluid lines.

The decks are made for relaxed outdoor living, blending sociable areas with thoughtful privacy. The foredeck is a real showpiece, centred around a raised jacuzzi bordered by broad sunpads. Just forward, an inset conversation pit sits low in the bow, wrapping guests in a floating lounge that feels partly cocooned, partly open to the horizon. The upper sundeck also features a large sunpad area, offering another choice for soaking up the sun.

The flybridge includes a skylounge that can shift from enclosed and climate-controlled to breezy and open-air. Glass aft doors and side windows retract completely, letting the space breathe while connecting directly with the surrounding decks.

Towards the front of the upper deck, a discreet pool is nestled into its own serene setting, encircled by sunbathing space. It’s a spot designed for quieter moments, whether cooling off after lunch or unwinding with friends. At the extreme bow, a suspended net has been fitted, inviting guests to lounge just above the waterline with the sea moving gently beneath.

Interior Design

Inside, the Acube Design interior follows a contemporary vision that’s refined but refreshingly understated. Curved contours feature throughout, softening the architecture and giving storage elements a sculptural, integrated feel. Premium materials and a calm, neutral palette give the spaces a restful air, while natural light plays a central role in the atmosphere onboard.

Large windows line the saloons and corridors, with floor-to-ceiling glass in the main living area enhancing the sense of openness. Here, low-profile furniture and a polished marble coffee table sit at the heart of the space, arranged to preserve sightlines and encourage conversation. Sliding glass doors open fully to connect with the aft deck, creating a natural flow between inside and out.

The upper deck also features an “al fresco salon” - a flexible area that can be opened wide to the sea or closed off for a more private, temperature-controlled experience. This variability gives guests control over the mood and format of the space, whether for evening gatherings, movie nights, or quiet afternoons out of the sun.

Accommodation

With a volume of 300GT, the Maiora 36 Exuma offers a generous five-cabin layout for up to 10 guests. The full-beam owner’s suite is positioned forward on the main deck, taking advantage of the beam and views while offering privacy from the guest spaces below.

On the lower deck, accommodation continues with a VIP cabin and three further guest suites, each with its own ensuite. The configuration is designed to balance luxury with flexibility, accommodating families, groups or charter guests with ease.

Crew quarters are discreetly located to support smooth operations and high service standards. There is space for a team of up to five, giving the yacht capacity for professional handling without compromising guest privacy or comfort.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by 3 x diesel MAN (12V 2000) 2,000hp engines, motor yacht Angola is capable of reaching a top speed of 32 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. With her 21,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 650 nautical miles at 20 knots.
