Ad Astra is a 122'8" motor yacht due to be delivered by Dutch shipyard Moonen in 2025. She features exterior design by René van der Velden Yacht Design and interior styling by Hollander Yacht Design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 26'3" beam and a 7'1" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 345 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2023. This was the seventh yacht built on the Moonen 122 Martinique design. Launched in September 2025 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
Ad Astra measures 37.4m (122.7ft) and has a white steel hull with an orange waterline detail. The aluminium superstructure follows horizontal, linear styling, with large sections of dark glazing running the length of both the main and bridge decks. The bow carries a soft sheer line, and the profile remains uncluttered with slim railings and minimal external fixtures.
The aft decks are arranged as open terraces, suitable for seating or dining, with direct views over the water. The upper deck includes a shaded observation area, while a Jacuzzi is integrated into the deck plan as part of the yacht’s outdoor lifestyle features. At the transom, the design provides straightforward access to the sea.
Interior Design
The interior of Ad Astra, created by Hollander Yacht Design and crafted by Moonen’s in-house team, is shaped around a calm and refined atmosphere. The palette is light and layered, built on tay wood with elegant Jacquard wall panels and furniture designed with sculptural precision.
Dark walnut trims, polished metal detailing, and onyx countertops introduce depth and contrast, while the lighting design softens the mood with a subtle warmth. The saloon, main lobby, and other shared areas flow together with easy circulation, keeping the interior both liveable and sophisticated.
Bathrooms carry the same attention to finish, with crema marble surfaces and mosaics that shimmer with a mother-of-pearl effect. Basins carved from black and gold marble give a bold accent. Throughout, generous ceiling heights and expansive windows anchor the spaces to their surroundings, creating interiors that feel open and naturally lit.
Accommodation
Ad Astra accommodates ten guests in five cabins. The owner’s suite sits forward on the main deck, making the most of full-height windows that frame panoramic views. The stateroom includes a spacious en-suite bathroom, detailed in premium stone and textured finishes that echo the wider interior scheme.
Two VIP cabins on the lower deck provide ample space and private en-suites, while two further guest cabins complete the arrangement. Each cabin follows the same approach of soft tones, natural light, and well-balanced materials, for comfort across the guest quarters.
Crew areas are designed to support smooth operation and discreet service, with capacity for up to seven crew members.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32) 1,925hp engines, motor yacht Ad Astra is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 9,246 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots.
