Delivered by German shipyard Lürssen, the superyacht Nixie, formerly known as Project Jassj, features exterior and interior design by British studio RWD, naval architecture developed in-house, and a collection of standout features including a foredeck helipad, cascading beach club terraces, and expansive curved glazing. She is also expected to make her world premiere at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show.
A profile shaped by proportion rather than scale
While many yachts of this size rely on imposing dimensions to create impact, Nixie adopts a more refined approach. RWD has created an exceptionally long and low profile, with the superstructure positioned further aft to emphasise the yacht's elegant proportions.
Large expanses of curved glazing sweep along the length of the vessel, creating uninterrupted horizontal lines that visually stretch the profile even further. Designed with a pronounced bow flare and clean deck arrangement, the result is a yacht that appears both powerful and understated.
Cascading terraces transform the stern into a private resort
One of the defining elements of the boat's design is the arrangement of her aft decks. A series of curved terraces step gradually towards the water, creating multiple outdoor living spaces that remain visually connected across the yacht's four decks. The layered architecture provides shade, privacy and uninterrupted views while leading naturally to an expansive beach club integrated directly into the hull. Together with a swimming pool, generous lounge areas and multiple social spaces, the stern has been conceived as a destination in its own right.
Contemporary interiors welcome 20 guests
Although details of the motor yacht's interior remain private, Nixie offers accommodation for up to 20 guests across 10 suites. Her considerable 3,420 gross tonnage volume allows for spacious guest areas, extensive crew facilities and a layout designed for long periods on board. RWD's involvement across both the exterior and interior design ensures a cohesive aesthetic throughout the yacht, with an emphasis on natural light, clean architectural forms and strong connections to the surrounding environment.
Five years from announcement to delivery
The project was first revealed during the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show and was reportedly commissioned for a Canadian owner through Moran Yacht & Ship. Nixie remained largely out of the public eye until her technical launch in late 2023, before re-emerging following outfitting and final completion. With delivery now confirmed, the yacht joins an exclusive group of custom superyachts exceeding 100 metres in length and ranks among the highest-volume deliveries of 2026 and is expected to secure a place within YachtBuyer's YB100 ranking, which tracks the world's largest yachts by gross tonnage.
