Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 16.8m beam. The yacht has an internal volume of 6,000 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

Project M’s first teaser reveals her in the most economical way possible: a handful of illuminated lines picked out against an almost completely black hull. Those lines run for extraordinary distances before thinning away into darkness, so the yacht reads first as length and proportion, with very little of her actual mass exposed.

Each illuminated deck edge seems to float independently, separated by deep shadow, while the upper levels become shorter and lighter as they rise. It is a clever way of disguising the scale of the yacht, particularly through the centre section, where very little structure can actually be seen.

The bow is long and sharply raked, with a near-horizontal sheer running forward before the hull narrows into a fine point. Its considerable height and flare give Project M plenty of presence forward, but Øino stretches the lines so far along the hull that the bow still appears remarkably slender for a yacht of this scale.

Only the highest elements break that horizontal rhythm. A swept mast rises cleanly from the roofline, with a long, shallow structure extending forward beneath it. It gives Project M a distinctive silhouette without adding much visual height, and becomes one of the few details that can be identified confidently.
