Designed inside and out by British studio RWD, the four-deck Lurssen superyacht was delivered in June following a five-year build. Previously known as Project Jassj, Nixie joins an impressive lineup of new launches appearing in Port Hercule this September.
A Long-Awaited Public Debut
Although Nixie has been closely followed throughout construction, her Monaco appearance will mark the first time the completed yacht is exhibited publicly.
The project was first announced during the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show before entering construction at Lürssen's German facilities. Following a technical launch in late 2023, the yacht emerged in completed form earlier this year before undertaking extensive Baltic Sea trials ahead of her June delivery.
Built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, Nixie measures 102.4m with a 15m beam and an internal volume of 3,420GT, placing her among the largest private yachts delivered in 2026. She currently sits 81st in YachtBuyer's YB100 ranking of the world's largest yachts by gross tonnage and 65th by length in the Top 100.
RWD Creates a Refined 100-Meter Profile
RWD has given the yacht an unusually long, low profile, with the superstructure positioned further aft to emphasize elegant horizontal lines. Extensive curved glazing wraps around each deck, while broad overhangs create the impression that successive decks are floating above one another.
The sweeping deck arrangement naturally draws the eye toward the stern, where cascading terraces descend to a 126-square-meter beach club integrated into the hull. At its center sits a striking 7.5-meter glass-bottom infinity pool, positioned above the beach club to create one of the yacht's defining architectural features. Forward, the commercial-certified helipad also serves as a sports court, making efficient use of one of the motor yacht's largest open deck spaces.
Designed Around Long-Term Cruising
Designed for up to 20 guests across 10 suites, Nixie pairs RWD's calm architectural styling with full-height glazing, natural stone, light oak and marble throughout her 3,420 gross-ton interior. A sculptural travertine staircase and elevator connect all four guest decks.
Guest amenities are spread across the yacht, including a 144-square-meter gym with fold-down balconies, a spa with sauna, steam room, massage room and beauty salon, plus indoor and outdoor cinemas, multiple lounges and dining areas. At the stern, the beach club opens directly onto the sea beneath the yacht's glass-bottom infinity pool.
Supporting extended time on board are quarters for 34 crew, along with an extensive collection of tenders and water toys, including Scorpion and Hodgdon limousine tenders, jet skis, Seabobs and an approved RYA watersports center.
Other Notable Monaco Yacht Show Debuts
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the world's largest yacht database, Nixie won't be the only recent delivery attracting attention in Port Hercule. CRN's award-winning 68m Amor a Vida will make her Monaco Yacht Show debut. Delivered in 2025, the hybrid-powered custom yacht arrives after earning praise for her family-focused layout, expansive beach club, and advanced diesel-electric propulsion system.
Also making her world debut is the 53m Gray Wolf, the flagship of the new Mengi Yay Virtus XP explorer series. Designed by VYD Studio with naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, the 499GT explorer offers a 6,000-nautical-mile range and marks the Turkish yard's largest yacht delivered to date.
Moonen's 37.4m Lollipop will make her world debut following delivery earlier this year. Although the Moonen 122 Martinique platform is already established, this is the first hull to feature an interior by Vripack, alongside owner-specified additions including a sundeck Jacuzzi and enlarged swim platform.
