  • First RGB exterior lighting system
  • Forward bow lounge with sunpads
  • Flybridge jacuzzi and wet bar
  • Hydraulic beach club platform

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.03m beam and a 2.05m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 152 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the second yacht built on the Delfino 93' design. Launched in May 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.

Exterior Design

Sea Gypsey is a Benetti Delfino 93, measuring 28.5m (93ft 6in), and the profile follows a classic displacement form with smooth, rounded lines, while Stefano Righini’s styling adds a more modern edge through glazing and deck shaping. The white GRP hull and superstructure keep the look clean, and a continuous band of dark glazing wraps around the main deck, so the profile feels lighter than the volume suggests.

The deck layout is tiered across three clear levels, with each space set up for outdoor use. The flybridge sits beneath a hardtop and includes a jacuzzi, sunpads, a wet bar, and seating arranged around a table, while maintaining open views across all sides. Forward, the bow is used as a dedicated lounge, with a large sunbathing area that can also incorporate a second jacuzzi depending on configuration.

Aft, the design opens up. Lowered bulwarks reduce visual barriers, so the cockpit feels closer to the water, and this area connects directly to a hydraulic swim platform that forms the base of the beach club. The transom door lifts to reveal a tender garage, which supports both storage and water access without interrupting the main deck layout.

Across the exterior, teak decking is used in high-traffic areas, while large windows and cutaway sections in the bulwarks improve visibility from inside and out, keeping a constant link to the surroundings.

Interior Design

The interior is shaped to match the exterior glazing, so natural light carries through the main living areas. The main saloon sits behind the wraparound glass, which provides wide views while also breaking up the structure from the outside. The layout supports both lounge seating and formal dining, with enough space to accommodate larger groups without crowding.

Materials and finishes follow a contemporary Italian style, with clean lines and balanced proportions, so the interior feels open rather than heavily styled. Circulation between spaces is straightforward, with direct links to the aft deck and upper levels.

Lighting plays a larger role here due to the RGB WHITE exterior system, which extends the atmosphere beyond the interior. This system allows the yacht to shift tone across more than 30 colour combinations, so the exterior lighting can match different settings or times of day while also reflecting into the interior spaces at night.

Accommodation

Sea Gypsy offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. Additionally, there are 2 staff cabins aboard which can accommodate up to 4 members of the owners staff and security team. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (8V2000 M72) 720hp engines running at 2250rpm, motor yacht Sea Gypsy is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 16,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Special Features

She also boasts the world’s first exterior LED lighting system, RGB WHITE, which is an innovative technology that illuminates the exterior areas in over 30 different colour combinations and tones, varying with the chromatic appearance. This produces optimal lighting and atmosphere at all times in any light conditions.
