Delivered in 1984, Tranquillity is a 42m motor yacht built by Dutch shipyard Amels. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Diana Yacht Design, while Felix Buytendijk Yacht Design is responsible for her interior design.

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8m beam and a 2.62m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 373 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Tranquillity offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (D398 PC-TA) 12-cylinder 850hp engines, motor yacht Tranquillity is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 50,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.
