More DetailsThe 103' motor yacht Fantasea was delivered to her owners in 2007 by Taiwanese shipyard Horizon. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Horizon, while JC Espinosa is responsible for her interior design.
Key Features
- Beach club with hydraulic boom platform
- Main helm with brand new Garmin display
- Huge sun deck with six-person jacuzzi
- Three spacious cabins
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 21'6" beam and a 6'4" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 157 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Fantasea, a 2007 Horizon measuring 28.96m (95ft), carries a raked bow that enhances both her profile and efficiency at sea, cutting cleanly through the water. Her hull and superstructure are finished in crisp white, accented with a dark boot top and waterline detail. Teak decking adds warmth and practicality across the exterior.
At the stern, a hydraulic swim platform lowers into the water with built-in steps. It doubles as a tender and jet ski launch, an easy boarding point, and a safe way to enjoy the sea. The platform connects directly to the crew quarters and engine room via interior and exterior access.
The aft deck is centred around a large wooden dining table with seating for relaxed meals. Security cameras discreetly monitor the area, while wide views aft give the space an open-air feel.
Up top, the sundeck is arranged for both entertaining and navigation. A six-person jacuzzi has been added in place of earlier seating, positioned for views across the anchorage. A Solaris grill is mounted on a custom bracket that allows the stairwell door to slide away neatly, keeping circulation clear. Bar stools can be tucked out of the way when not in use, and six freestanding chairs offer flexible seating. The overhead is painted glossy white to reflect sunlight and brighten the deck.
Forward, the flybridge helm has multifunction displays, Garmin screens, and full controls, giving the captain clear sightlines to the foredeck and guest areas. The bow itself features wide sunpads with thick cushions and a built-in forward-facing bench, creating a private sunbathing zone.
Interior Design
The main saloon has the spaciousness of a full-beam design, with high-gloss cherry wood complemented by maple burl inlays. Pale carpets and ornate ceiling panels give a light yet traditional finish. A wall-mounted television and a bar area with fridge and sink extend its functionality.
A formal dining table seats eight beneath a custom beveled mirror overhead, which reflects light and amplifies the sense of volume. Stemware storage lines the cabinetry, and a chandelier adds a decorative touch.
The galley, arranged in a country kitchen style forward, is equipped with modern appliances, refrigeration, a dishwasher, and generous workspace. Large storage areas are built in for crockery and cookware. Side doors on both port and starboard connect to the foredeck, improving ventilation and providing crew and guests with easy movement through the yacht.
At the helm, Fantasea carries updated Garmin navigation systems, dual radars, and controls for bow and stern thrusters. The main wheelhouse has a commanding layout, while the upper helm offers an elevated view across the foredeck and guest spaces.
Accommodation
Fantasea’s layout favours generous living space, with three large staterooms for up to six guests.
-
Owner’s stateroom: Full-beam amidships on the lower deck, fitted with a king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe, settee, and a large television. The en-suite bathroom features a rainfall shower, a handheld wand, and dual shower heads.
-
VIP stateroom: Forward, with a king-size bed, double wardrobes, portholes, and a spacious en-suite.
-
Guest stateroom: Port side, fitted with a queen-size bed, settee, large headroom, and private en-suite.
Each cabin offers generous walkways and storage, a result of opting for three staterooms instead of squeezing in a fourth.
Crew accommodation is aft, arranged across two cabins with shared bathroom facilities including a shower and day head. Laundry facilities with washer and dryer are also provided. In total, the yacht supports up to four crew.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32) 1,650hp engines, motor yacht Fantasea is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
