Now in the painting phase, the Sirena Superyachts 42M has reached an advanced stage of build at the company’s Bursa facility. Both the hull and superstructure are nearing completion, with major systems such as the main engines already being installed. Interior joinery and outfitting are proceeding in parallel.
According to Sirena Yachts CEO Çağın Genç, construction is running precisely to plan. “Due to the complexity of the build, we employed an external surveyor to monitor progress and control quality,” he said. “I am delighted to report that we are exactly where we wanted to be at this stage – on schedule and working to a very high standard of finish.”
A Global Design
The Sirena Superyachts 42M represents a first for the yard in the 40-meter-plus category. The yacht for sale draws on a strong international team, with exterior and layout design by Luca Vallebona, interiors by Hot Lab (part of The Viken Group), and naval architecture by Dutch firm Van Oossanen.
Van Oossanen has equipped the model with its proven Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), known for exceptional efficiency and stability across a wide speed range. The hull design maximizes internal space, granting the 42M a generous gross tonnage of 433 GT - among the largest volumes in her class - without compromising hydrodynamic performance.
The yacht’s propulsion package meets IMO Tier III standards and features hybrid-ready architecture for lower emissions and quieter cruising. Enhanced vibration and noise isolation systems further improve onboard comfort.
An Architectural Approach to Living at Sea
Described by its designers as an “architectural journey,” the Sirena Superyachts 42M prioritizes spatial flow, natural light, and texture to create an immersive onboard experience. Each transition between areas on board the motor yacht for sale has been carefully composed to encourage calm, unhurried movement and a strong connection to the sea.
Hot Lab’s interiors channel a Nordic-meets-Mediterranean sensibility through natural beech and oak, curved forms, and desaturated tones. Partner and Head of Design Enrico Lumini describes the approach as “a studied environment rich in detail, yet one that avoids excess. The lines of the superyacht for sale are essential and clear, with contrast giving them depth and character.”
Layout and Lifestyle
The standard layout includes four guest cabins on the lower deck and two VIP suites, with transverse beds to emphasize width and space. The master suite can be positioned either on the main or upper deck, and the bow area can be configured as a dining terrace or private retreat. Future builds will maintain this semi-custom flexibility to reflect individual owner preferences.
A defining feature of the 42M is the owner’s cabin, which includes direct access to a private forward patio and an optional Jacuzzi. Outdoor living areas are equally generous, with multiple social zones for dining and relaxation, a sundeck with panoramic views, and a large aft deck featuring a pool and fold-down bulwarks that extend the beach club directly onto the water.
First unveiled at the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show, the Sirena Superyachts 42M is part of a growing range that includes planned 35- and 50-meter models.
The first Sirena 42M superyacht is listed for sale on YachtBuyer and is currently asking €23,950,000.
According to YachtBuyer Market Watch, the largest yacht database in the world, Sirena Yachts currently has two other yachts either in build or on order.
