Why Not U is a 33.5m open yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Mangusta in 2001. Her exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Stefano Righini, while Mangusta is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.12m beam and a 1.3m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 190 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the fifth yacht built on the Mangusta 108 design.

Why Not U offers accommodation for up to 9 guests in 4 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Powered by twin gas turbine Textron Lycoming (Vericor TF40) 4,385hp engines, motor yacht Why Not U is capable of reaching a top speed of 55 knots, and comfortably cruises at 47 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
Special Features
Launched in 2001 she is the flagship of the Mangusta 108 series. Her twin Lycoming gas turbines engines combined with triple Kamewa waterjets set her apart from others in the range. Generating 8,770hp they give her a top speed of 55 knots. Apparently they sound they sound like a plane taking off!
