Sold as a new-build project in 2023 by Northrop & Johnson broker Deniz Kaymaz, the 33m Numarine yacht is the latest addition to the shipyard’s increasingly popular Numarine 32XP series.
Unlike her sisterships, Ray has been constructed to meet MCA LY3 commercial standards, making her the only 32XP built to this specification to date. This allows the owner greater operational flexibility, whether for private use or charter, and ensures compliance with one of the most widely recognized global safety frameworks in yachting.
Design That Prioritizes Function, Comfort, and Light
The 32XP series is the result of a longstanding collaboration between Numarine and designer Can Yalman, who handled both exterior and interior styling. Naval architecture is by Umberto Tagliavini, with additional input from Hot Lab on the interior scheme.

The profile of the explorer yacht is immediately recognizable, defined by sharp angles, sweeping lines, and large expanses of glazing. The wide main deck windows and clean silhouette are designed to balance explorer practicality with a modern aesthetic.
Onboard, the design team has focused on natural light and guest comfort. The main salon is surrounded by full-height windows and laid out for extended stays at sea, with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The use of light materials and textures complements the yacht’s emphasis on openness and functionality.
Spacious Layout Across Three Decks
With an internal volume of 299 GT, the yacht spans three decks and accommodates up to 12 guests across six cabins. The owner’s suite is located forward on the main deck and benefits from expansive views and a private setting. The rest of the guest accommodation comprises one VIP suite, two double cabins, and two twin cabins—each with its own en suite bathroom. Two of the cabins are fitted with Pullman berths to maximize capacity for charter use.

Crew arrangements are also well considered. Up to six crew can be accommodated in three cabins, including a dedicated captain’s cabin. The crew layout supports both efficient service and long-range operational comfort on board the motor yacht.
Long-Range Performance with Efficient Cruising
Powered by twin MAN D2868 L425 diesel engines producing a combined 1,430hp, Ray is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots and cruises comfortably at 12 knots. Her displacement hull allows for an economic cruising speed of 8 knots, delivering an impressive range of up to 4,000 nautical miles. This makes her well suited for transoceanic passages and extended cruising in remote regions.

The superyacht carries 29,000 liters of fuel and 3,000 liters of freshwater, underscoring her independence from shore facilities and suitability for true exploration.
