Currently under construction at the yard’s Antalya facility in Turkey, the Damen Yachting YS53 yacht is scheduled for delivery in Spring 2026.
A Growing Fleet
The YS53 yacht has quickly established itself as a versatile addition to superyacht fleets, designed to extend capacity for tenders, submersibles, and helicopter operations. The series carries the hallmarks of Damen’s Dutch naval architecture and engineering, with a wave-piercing axe bow, raked windows, and protective spray rails. With a gross tonnage of 499GT, this latest hull will accommodate eight guests and ten crew, including the captain.
Central to its utility is the open main deck aft, equipped with a 15-tonne crane for launching and recovering heavy equipment. Both the exterior and interior design on board the motor yacht, together with naval architecture, are by Damen Yachting.
A Track Record of Success
This sale of the support yacht follows a string of milestones for the YS53 line. Earlier this year, the second hull, Five Oceans, was delivered, while the third, Emotional, is set to be showcased at the Monaco Yacht Show later this month. With the latest contract signed, Damen confirmed that the next available delivery slot for a YS53 will not be until Spring 2028.
This YS53 is the perfect addition to the Owner’s existing fleet and provides the extension of facilities the Owner is looking to achieve with the addition of a support vessel.
