The Capri gathering brought together a global fleet of Pershing yachts, with sea trials, coastal cruises, and exclusive dining experiences staged at landmark venues across the island. From lunches in Nerano to evening events at Capri’s “Il Riccio” and “a-MaRe Capri,” the weekend was designed to reflect the brand’s identity - bold, stylish, and unapologetically fast. Guests enjoyed live music, curated experiences from partners including Flexjet and Seabob, and high-profile appearances, such as that of Formula 1 driver George Russell, who recently joined the Pershing ownership circle with a new 6X.

Spotlight: The New Pershing GTX70
At the heart of the celebration was the official presentation of the Pershing GTX70, introduced with a synchronized drone light show above La Canzone del Mare. The 22m yacht is the newest entry into the Pershing GTX lineup and represents a clear evolution in Pershing’s approach to performance cruising.
Capable of reaching 36 knots, the GTX70 offers a three-cabin layout for up to six guests and is built with a planing fiberglass hull. While it shares the same aggressive lines and performance DNA as other Pershing models, the GTX70 introduces a different philosophy on board - centered around openness, usability, and flow. The main deck is designed for 360-degree connection, with an aft galley setup that links the salon to the cockpit in one continuous space.

On the aft deck, fold-down bulwarks expand the beach area and cockpit to a generous 42 square meters. The three-level beach platform includes integrated stairs and a linear lift, allowing the platform to adjust from a raised terrace to sea level. Inside the motor yacht, the fit and finish carry Pershing’s usual precision, with twin sofas running down each side of the salon and large windows delivering natural light throughout.

Alongside the GTX70, guests were treated to an impressive display of the brand’s flagship models - each reflecting Pershing’s longstanding design focus on speed, balance, and sharp exterior styling.
The Pershing 6X, recently acquired by George Russell, drew attention for its bold design and confident performance. Measuring 19m, the 6X offers three cabins and a 48-knot top speed, delivering a dynamic experience with precise electrohydraulic steering. Inside, the 6X stands out for its large hull windows, dark glass sunroof, and openable front windows that flood the lounge with light. Structural elements like the integrated side wings emphasize the model’s commitment to both form and function.
Also on display was the 21m Pershing 7X - crafted in carbon fiber to enhance performance and reduce displacement. Powered for speeds above 50 knots, the 7X continues the brand’s push toward lightweight, high-tech construction, using lithium batteries and refined materials to maximize efficiency. The open-plan main deck and full-height glazing give the interior a bright, connected feel, while the reworked portholes in the guest cabins offer greater views and airflow than previous generations.
The largest model on display was the 26m Pershing 8X - a carbon fiber sportsbridge yacht that blends aggressive looks with a surprising level of on-board comfort. With four guest cabins and three exterior lounging zones, the 8X manages to offer both pace and privacy. Owners benefit from a bright salon with a full-length windshield and high-end freestanding furniture, while the flybridge - accessed via a stairway built into Pershing’s distinctive side wing- adds another layer of outdoor usability.
As a design touch, the 8X features the innovative Music ∙ Hull system, enabling guests to enjoy music underwater while swimming or diving near the yacht - a fitting addition for a brand that has always embraced technology as part of the experience.

As Pershing closes its 40th year, the Capri celebration reaffirmed what has defined the brand for decades - design-led performance, owner-first usability, and a commitment to pushing boundaries without losing the essence of what makes a Pershing unmistakable. With models like the GTX70 charting a new path toward flexibility and onboard volume, and the existing X-range continuing to deliver award-winning performance, Pershing’s future remains as bold as its past.
