On Deck
At the stern, the massive swim platform of the CLX96 is fitted with a Z-shaped transformer lift, capable of handling up to 800kg (1,600lbs) for tenders or jet skis. Integrated within the platform is a crane of the same capacity, allowing multiple launch and retrieval options. Wet storage lockers with drainage systems sit aft, ideal for inflatable paddleboards, toys, and shore gear. Shore power connections are found portside.
Up at the bow, a multifunctional lounge takes center stage. Pop-up backrests, adjustable tables that integrate into the sunpad, and optional sunshades change this area into either a relaxation zone or alfresco lounge. Below the forward seating lies generous line and fender storage. Cup holders and pop-up lights round out the detailing, while the custom pocket anchor windlass setup on either side adds to the distinct styling.
A nice design detail from the exterior is the bold double-reverse-angle silhouette and triangular support beams aft, echoed by carbon fiber framing throughout. There are side boarding doors on both port and starboard, and all exterior switches and connections are weather-shielded for durability.
The Portuguese terrace has been inspired by the traditional Portuguese bridge, but it functions more like an open-air blank canvas, complete with pole mounts for shading. There are also integrated benches and stackable furniture built for sea crossings.
Upstairs on the flybridge, there's an outdoor galley with a propane barbecue, storage for covers, and a fully equipped bar. Marine-grade stainless steel loungers, cleverly designed to pivot or lift for sunbathing preferences, fill the deck. Forward, an alfresco dining table sits beneath sunshade receptacles, with satellite domes and weather stations mounted discreetly overhead. There’s a convertible hardtop section and integrated lighting throughout.
A reverse staircase aft provides a safer ascent and descent when underway. The upper deck windows can open fully, giving the enclosed flybridge the breezy feel of an open flybridge, without compromising protection. The full walkaround sidewalks are subtly recessed, so the interior still feels full-beam even though the side decks remain fully accessible.
Interior Accommodation
Carbon fiber frames support the superstructure, eliminating the need for visible supports and creating uninterrupted sightlines through the main salon. The salon is defined by low, tiered furniture leading up to the dramatic champagne lounge and a very large drop-down TV.
The formal dining area sits forward and features fully opening side doors that tuck away, creating a nearly open-air dining experience. On the port side, full-height windows complement custom furniture with non-skid surfaces built in. Just forward lies a stylish bar area with leather-upholstered stools, stemware storage, a wine fridge, and detailed cabinetry with matching angular accents throughout.
The galley is exceptionally well-equipped for extended cruising, with Bosch appliances throughout including a four-burner cooktop, microwave, full oven, and a concealed full-size dishwasher. Additional features include a Sub-Zero fridge, dual sink setup, trash compactor, and air conditioning that flows discreetly from the structural beams. A small champagne lounge with a dedicated cooler and raised seating area connects the space back to the salon for easy flow and entertaining.
Above, the pilot house is designed to function both as a protected bridge and social hangout. Twin side windows and an aft bar window can be opened to create an open-flybridge atmosphere. There’s an indoor bar with dual fridges, sink, ice maker, and storage. A large settee sits just behind the helm. A massive pop-up TV swivels to face in or out through the drop window.
The helm itself is wrapped in a carbon fiber housing with space for three multifunction displays. Equipment includes side power bow and stern thrusters, a Garmin autopilot remote, VHF radios, anchor controls, twin CAT engine controls, stabilization monitors, fire suppression system, and additional wired and wireless docking controls accessible through the side window.
Owner's Cabin
Located forward on the lower deck, the owner’s suite is one of the standout spaces on board. Positioned at the widest part of the hull, the cabin makes full use of the yacht’s 7.3m (24ft) beam, which is carried unusually far forward. Skylights overhead bring in natural light, aligning with the deck-level glazing seen from the bow lounge above.
The king-size bed appears to float thanks to a delicate Corian frame, with matching nightstands and concealed drawers that preserve the sense of space. A full set of wardrobes and drawers wrap the cabin, alongside a settee and a makeup or work desk with pouf. Large windows give wide sea views, supported by a forward-facing camera system that replicates the real-time view on the cabin’s massive TV.
The ensuite is cleverly split into two identical sides, each with its own sink, storage, private head, and hanging closets. A central shower connects both sides and includes an emergency escape hatch.
Guest Accommodation
The lower deck holds a four-cabin, four-head layout, starting aft with the VIP suite. This space spans nearly full beam and rivals many owners’ suites, with large hull windows, ample storage, seating, and a desk. The bed features the same elegant floating frame and clever hidden drawer nightstands found in the owner's suite. The ensuite includes twin sinks, a vast mirrored vanity, large shower, and separate head.
Two twin guest cabins sit to port and starboard, both fitted with convertible berths that can slide together to form doubles. Each has a hanging locker, drawers, and its own ensuite bathroom with separate shower, good storage, and thoughtful lighting. The woodwork and curved detailing continue here, tying the entire interior aesthetic together.
There’s a dedicated laundry area with washer, dryer, and additional storage tucked between the cabins.
Crew Accommodation
Accessed either from the cockpit or through the engine room, the crew quarters maintain the same level of finish as the guest areas. Designed to accommodate up to four crew (such as a couple, captain, and deckhand), there’s a communal crew mess with a thick dining table, fridge, microwave, and storage.
The smaller cabin features a bunk setup, locker, and shared access to the head. The captain’s cabin could easily serve as private quarters for a couple, with a proper bed, hanging space, desk, and storage. The shared head includes a separate shower, well-sized for the space, and is not a wet head. A second washer and dryer are also found here for crew use.
Performance
The engine room is accessed via a large watertight door on the swim platform or through the crew quarters. It is spacious, nicely laid out and offers excellent headroom. The two C32 Caterpillar main engines produce 1,900 hp each. Twin Kohler generators sit outboard to port and starboard, while Raycor fuel filters and a side power hydraulic pack are located aft.
A notable design choice is the foam-core composite hull with built-in tankage - effectively creating a double-hull effect for added safety in the event of impact. The pneumatic chillers run quietly, and the fire suppression system is prominently installed. Shore power isolators, breakers, and battery chargers are cleanly arranged forward in the space.
