On Deck
The Endurance 72 doesn’t waste an inch. At the stern, drop-down balconies on both sides transform the cockpit into a wide, open platform for lounging, dining, or just catching the breeze. Adjustable backrests on the built-in seating make it feel custom-fit, and the folding table expands easily when you're entertaining. The aft glazing slides away, connecting cockpit and saloon into one generous space. On a good day, with the doors wide open and that side window dropped, it becomes a kind of floating veranda.
Walkaround decks are set deep into the structure, so rather than edging along narrow side decks, you simply stroll forward. There’s a reassuring sense of security, and it keeps the entire length of the boat feeling like usable living space. Up at the bow, there's room to stretch out on full-beam sunpads that run almost to the pulpit. Clever detailing continues here too – stainless steel fairleads protect the gelcoat from mooring lines, and fenders drop in neatly with pop-out pins.
The flybridge is relaxed but refined, with a big table and wraparound seating that encourages long, lazy lunches. The wet bar is fully kitted out with sink, hob, fridge, and an ice maker tucked into the cabinetry. A soft bimini lifts at the touch of a button, though a hardtop is also an option. Forward, there’s a second helm with all the gear, and aft, a full-width sunpad under the domes keeps the flybridge feeling like an open-air lounge.
At water level, the bathing platform lowers hydraulically for easy access, and the tender garage beneath the cockpit holds a 3.7m (12.1ft) RIB - plenty for days out exploring.
Interior Accommodation
The interior layout feels clean and open, finished in pale woods with curved joinery throughout. The galley sits to port just inside the saloon, fitted with Miele appliances including a hob, dishwasher, and full-height fridge-freezer. Behind curved cabinetry is a hidden pantry with an ice maker, coffee machine, and extra storage.
Opposite the galley is the dining area, with a wine cooler under the companionway steps and a TV concealed in a cabinet beneath the side window. A side deck access door next to the helm supports short-handed use.
At the main helm, two Garmin screens show navigation and camera feeds, including a live 360-degree view. There’s a separate screen for engine data, and a touchpad by the helm manages the system without needing to reach forward.
Owner's Cabin
Located aft on the lower deck, the full-beam owner’s cabin is the most spacious suite on board. Wardrobe storage lines both sides of the room, complemented by additional drawers, a dressing area, and hull windows with circular opening ports. A pop-up TV is fitted into the cabinetry.
The ensuite bathroom spans the full beam with twin basins, rainfall shower, and a mirrored wall fitted with a wave pattern. Pocket doors slide shut to give privacy, with a second hinged door completing the enclosure. The layout is finished with signature curved detailing and a mix of pale and darker wood tones.
Guest Accommodation
The Endurance 72 follows a four-cabin layout. Two twin cabins are located forward on the lower deck, mirroring each other in size and layout. Each has generous headroom, large hull windows, fitted wardrobes, and an ensuite bathroom with toilet, basin, and separate shower stall. Subtle wood contrasts and curved panels break up the finish to avoid a flat or clinical appearance.
A separate VIP cabin sits just forward of the owner's suite. This space has a walk-around bed, AV system, ambient underlighting, and a neatly designed ensuite tucked behind a panelled wall. There is additional drawer and wardrobe storage and thoughtful lighting throughout.
Crew Cabin
A compact overflow cabin is located in the forepeak. It includes twin bunks, a wet room (with toilet, shower, and basin), laundry facilities, and integrated storage. Although not designed for full-time crew, this space can accommodate occasional crew or additional guests. It is well finished and offers good headroom, making it a practical bonus for owner-operators needing extra accommodation flexibility.
Performance
Accessed from the cockpit, the engine room houses a pair of Volvo Penta IPS 1350 pod drives – the largest engine option available for this model. A Seakeeper gyro stabiliser is fitted amidships, alongside twin generators, battery banks, and air conditioning systems.
Though technically a planing yacht, the Endurance 72 is built around long-range cruising. At full throttle, she can reach 26 knots, with an efficient cruising speed of 18-20 knots providing approximately 400 nautical miles of range. Dialling back to 6 knots stretches that range up to around 1,000 nautical miles.
Fuel tanks are fitted with sight gauges in addition to electronic displays – a rare, appreciated detail. Access around the engines is practical, with the pod drives and shore power reel clearly visible and reachable.
In Summary
The Endurance 72 leaves a strong impression not through flash but through the way everything’s been thought through. It’s easy to move around, with inside and outside spaces that genuinely work together. The curved finishes, adjustable features, and small practical touches like sight gauges and pop-out fender pins all point to careful design rather than excess. It feels like a boat made for long days aboard, with the flexibility to do things your own way – whether that’s cruising slowly and economically or making use of the full 26-knot performance. Not every detail is headline-grabbing, but the overall execution is smart, relaxed, and quietly confident.
