80m Feadship 716 Custom Superyacht Launched

The Feadship 716 superyacht has been launched from Feadship's De Vries shipyard in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands, providing the first complete look at one of the Dutch builder's latest custom superyachts.

Construction began in 2022, with the hull first emerging from Feadship's Scheepswerf Slob facility in April 2025 before moving into her outfitting phase. Following her launch, the 2,450GT yacht will undergo sea trials ahead of her scheduled 2026 delivery.

Classic Feadship styling

Built with a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Feadship 716 features a 13.5-metre beam and 3.3-metre draft. The first images reveal an almost vertical bow, a traditional multi-deck profile, crisp exterior lines and a broad foredeck, while a partially sheltered sundeck completes the yacht's clean, balanced silhouette.

Interiors remain under wraps

No details have been released regarding the yacht's interior design, accommodation or onboard amenities. However, with an internal volume of 2,450GT, the yacht is expected to offer generous living spaces typical of a custom yacht in this size range.

Engineering and construction

Constructed to Lloyd's Register classification standards, Feadship 716 features a displacement hull intended for long-range cruising. Technical specifications, including propulsion, performance and range, have yet to be disclosed as the yacht enters the final stages of commissioning.

Feadship's latest custom build

The launch of Feadship 716 continues a busy year for the Dutch shipyard, following the deliveries of the 101-metre Destiny and the 90-metre Milky Way. Together, the trio demonstrates Feadship's continued focus on large, fully custom superyachts tailored to individual owner briefs.

Destiny was delivered in July 2026 as one of the biggest yachts ever built by Feadship. Penned by RWD inside and out, with naval architecture by Azure Naval Architects, the 3,840 gross-tonne superyacht features a striking glass-bottomed aft swimming pool that brings natural light into the beach club below, alongside a foredeck touch-and-go helipad and a forward-facing jacuzzi on the upper deck.

Delivered the same year, Milky Way was designed by De Voogt with interiors by RWD and was conceived around long-range cruising and flexible onboard living. Her standout feature is a 16.7-metre main deck swimming pool, which is one of the largest ever installed on a Feadship, while her clean, linear profile, near-vertical bow and expansive outdoor spaces reflect a design brief centred on active living and entertaining.
