The wallytender48 carries the brand's iconic design language into a fresh chapter under its new partnership with the Ferretti Group. One of the most striking elements on deck is the set of fold-down bulwarks - developed from the larger 118 wallypower - which widen the aft area to create a more expansive swim platform. Integrated into this is a combined retractable passerelle and five-step swim ladder.

The deck layout encourages sociable cruising, with generous seating and sunbeds arranged for comfort whether underway or at anchor. The aft bench can be configured to face forward when cruising or pivoted around a dining table at rest. Beneath the forward and aft sunbeds, there’s a surprising amount of storage, including dedicated lockers for water toys like an inflatable SUP and scuba gear.

Protection from the sun has been considered, as well. Alongside the fixed carbon fiber hardtop, both the foredeck and aft cockpit can be shaded using awnings supported by carbon fibre poles - a Wally signature since 2003. A hidden Besenzoni anchoring arm, deployed at the touch of a button, sits beneath a flush bow hatch, keeping lines clean and operation simple. Completing the deck design is a continuous wraparound fender that acts as a built-in docking buffer, removing the need for traditional fenders.

Despite its role as a fast dayboat, the wallytender48 can still provide for overnighters. A full cabin sits below, with a shower cubicle and toilet finished in carbon fibre - including a carbon fibre floor and what may be the only carbon fibre toilet most guests will ever encounter. The interior is air-conditioned, with a clean and stylish choice of materials and tones that feel nice and chic. It’s compact but cleverly arranged, includes some storage and would be comfortable enough for weekend cruising.  

The galley unit is positioned to support al fresco dining, fitted with a sink, two cooking rings, and twin fridges - one inside, one out. It adds a practical edge to the open-deck layout, making it easy to entertain or relax with family and friends.

Power comes from twin Volvo IPS 650 engines delivering a combined 960 horsepower. This setup delivers a top speed of 38 knots, with joystick controls for precise handling at low speed. The engineering layout is neatly separated - the engine compartment sits beneath the aft sunpad, which lifts entirely or in sections to allow access. A separate technical space houses the electrical switchboards, avoiding heat buildup near the engines, and is also where the optional gyroscopic stabiliser can be installed.

The wallytender48 brings together Wally’s unmistakable futuristic styling with clever upgrades in volume, function and performance. The fold-down bulwarks, integrated galley, full cabin with shower, and strong engineering changes the dayboat label into something far more flexible.
