Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.7m beam and a 2.4m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 447 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2014. This was the first yacht built on the Oceano 42 design. She was delivered to her owners in August 2016.

Exterior Design

Neverland is a tri-deck yacht built in steel and aluminium with a striking sculptural profile. Her design combines sleek, contemporary lines with the relaxed posture of a true displacement cruiser. The hull features a bulbous bow and wave deflectors, aided by stabilisers for a smoother ride both underway and at anchor.

The foredeck sets a serene tone, with a shallow spa pool - saltwater or freshwater - bordered by glass. Two large sunpads seem to float beside a central path, creating a peaceful lounge zone with polished steel detailing, including a ship’s bell and dual windlasses at the bow. This area connects directly to the bridge with a forward-facing bench, inviting calm reflection underway or at anchor.

Aft, the yacht features a spacious beach club with six large transom windows providing views of the wake while cruising. The area is fitted with a custom-designed bar, towel storage, and underwater lighting that bounces off the waves after dark. The pool above filters light down through the transom, adding movement and atmosphere. The main aft deck includes a generous outdoor dining area and relaxed seating.

Above, the sun deck is laid out for flexibility - shaded dining under the hardtop and an open-air breakfast area. Most of the exterior furniture is bespoke, made by Paola Lenti, including several pieces crafted specifically for Neverland. Crew have direct passage to the sun deck without crossing guest areas, preserving privacy.

Natural light pours through the oversized glass doors flanking Neverland’s saloon.

Interior Design

Inside, Neverland carries a refined, balanced aesthetic defined by symmetry, texture, and contrast. The main saloon is flanked by large windows, with sliding glass doors whose tracks are cleverly hidden outside the superstructure. The palette includes raw silk, nubuck, brushed metal, and glass, with over 1,600 pieces of stainless steel incorporated throughout. Golden-toned wood veneer is echoed in marble surfaces, creating a consistent visual rhythm.

Furnishings are detailed and thoughtful - freestanding leather pieces hide cooling units, sinks, and air-conditioning trunks while maintaining clean lines. LED and natural light sources are layered to add depth, especially in shared spaces like the saloon and formal dining area.

Forward, a lobby leads to an office/lounge and then into the full-beam owner’s suite. This space uses cream-toned bamboo carpet, dark Eramosa marble, and glass to create a peaceful retreat. The en suite includes a skylight that projects reflections from the pool above, and a private balcony finished in oak parquet connects back to the room’s overall flooring for a seamless feel.

On the upper deck, the skylounge has been configured as a cinema room. Lower ceilings, smaller windows, and deep custom seating in raw silk and ebony provide a cosy atmosphere, while subtle nods to the Mangusta open series remain - including stainless steel lamp bases shaped like spoilers. This lounge connects to an aft dining area with low seating and a treadmill discretely stowed away.

The wheelhouse combines function and style, with a ceiling in grey Alcantara, parquet flooring, and leather-accented consoles. Large vertical windscreens offer clear sightlines, while wing stations in Plexiglas provide added control for docking.

Accommodation

Neverland accommodates 10 guests across five cabins. The owner’s suite is located forward on the main deck, complete with a private balcony and en suite bathroom accented with dark marble and light projections from above. Furnishings are curved and softened, and the decor mixes smooth and tactile finishes for a relaxed feel.

Below deck, four guest cabins each reflect a different global inspiration. The Mauritius cabin features a vertical garden concealing the emergency exit and slatted woodwork that filters daylight. The Saint-Tropez cabin is dressed in Hermès sailing-themed wallpaper and marine blue accents, with a teak floor and en suite fittings labeled in French.

In the Bodrum cabin, a bold hide wall covering sourced from Texas evokes sand and sea, paired with blue mosaic tiles and Striato Olimpo marble. The Bergama suite references Hellenistic temple architecture with ochre tones and patchwork textiles, inspired by ancient stone columns.

Crew are accommodated in three twin cabins, with a light-toned mess and an adjacent laundry area. The captain’s cabin is located next to the wheelhouse for operational efficiency. Systems throughout are designed with floating floors to reduce noise and simplify access for maintenance.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M72) 12-cylinder 1,488hp engines running at 2250rpm, motor yacht Neverland is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 62,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

A glass-edged spa pool forward sets the tone for relaxation aboard Neverland.

Amenities

In addition, Neverland features a beach club where those on board can enjoy unwinding close to the water. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
