Key Features
- Virgen Del Mar VI Alia Yachts motor yacht
- Extendable swimming platform at the stern
- Full-beam main deck master with private terrace
- Extensive use of glass throughout
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.4m beam and a 2.1m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 231 GT (Gross Tonnes).
She was delivered to her owners in June 2018.
Exterior Design
Virgen Del Mar VI is a 30.5m (100.1ft) Alia Yachts motor yacht, with exterior design by Omega Architects, and carries a clean, compact profile that keeps volume low and balanced across the hull. The lines stay soft and continuous, with long bands of glazing running along the main deck, while the superstructure sits low to avoid a top-heavy look.
Glass plays a central role across the exterior, as full-height windows and glass bulwarks reduce visual weight and open up sightlines from inside. The foredeck is arranged as a usable lounge space with built-in seating, while the upper deck adds further open areas for seating and sun exposure.
At the stern, an extendable swimming platform expands the usable footprint at water level, so the yacht gains a practical beach area when at anchor.
Interior Design
The interior, developed by RWD, focuses on creating a sense of space beyond the yacht’s 30.5m (100.1ft) footprint. Large sections of glazing wrap around the main saloon and dining area, so views extend outward and natural light moves deep into the interior.
A key element is the main deck corridor, which runs from the saloon through to the owner’s cabin, with glass panels and long sightlines used to stretch the visual length of the space. This approach reduces visual breaks between rooms, so the interior reads as one continuous volume.
Materials support that effect, with light oak flooring, dark sycamore contrasts and bronze detailing used in controlled amounts. Surfaces stay light, while backlit panels and reflective elements add depth.
Accommodation
Virgen Del Mar VI is arranged for family use, with a layout that prioritises space within a compact platform.
The owner’s suite sits on the main deck, spanning the full beam and covering around 22.5sqm (242ft²), with direct access to a private terrace through glass doors. Guest accommodation is arranged below deck, with cabins designed to maintain the same light, open feel as the main areas.
She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Yanmar (6HYM-Wet) 650hp engines, motor yacht Virgen Del Mar VI is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. She has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
