Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.89m beam and a 2.33m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 370 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Launched in June 2026 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.

Exterior Design

At 45m (147.6ft), Genie Blu takes a very different path from most yachts of her size. Built by Alia Yachts with an aluminium hull and superstructure, she trades stacked decks and towering profile lines for a long, low shape that seems to skim across the water.

The design is striking for what it leaves out. The hull sides are almost unbroken, the deckhouse sits low within the overall form, and a broad roof appears to float above a ring of glass. From a distance, the yacht reads as a single clean volume rather than a collection of decks piled one above another.

The layout centres on outdoor living. Forward, a vast foredeck lounge stretches across the full beam, with deep seating and sunpads set close to the water. Aft, the yacht opens into a series of broad stepped terraces that lead down towards the swim platform. Rather than dividing the stern into separate levels, the design creates one large sea-facing space where guests can spread out across different heights while still remaining connected.

The deck arrangement is remarkably uncluttered. Bulky structures, cranes and visual distractions have been kept out of sight, allowing the yacht's sharp geometry and strong horizontal lines to take centre stage. Even the mast has been treated as part of the overall design, carrying the owner's personal insignia rather than a conventional yacht logo.

The hull itself has a fine entry and near-vertical topsides, helping to create substantial internal volume while maintaining the yacht's exceptionally low profile.

Interior Design

Only limited information has been released about the interior, but the yacht's architecture reveals much about the design approach.

The heart of the yacht is a glass-wrapped main deck saloon enclosed by floor-to-ceiling windows. Natural light enters from every side, while uninterrupted sightlines keep the sea in view wherever guests are seated. The effect is likely to feel closer to a modern waterfront home than a traditional yacht interior enclosed by bulkheads and smaller windows.

The low-profile superstructure plays a key role in this feeling. Guests remain visually connected to the water rather than looking down from several decks above it. The relationship between inside and outside appears central to the entire concept.

Accommodation

Genie Blu offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites.
