Benetti Delivers 37m Motopanfilo Superyacht Sundance

Completed at the builder's Viareggio facility following her launch in June and sea trials earlier this summer, Benetti has delivered the 37m meter motor yacht Sundance

As the newest yacht in its award-winning Benetti Motopanfilo 37M series, Sundance features exterior styling by Francesco Struglia in collaboration with the shipyard, naval architecture by Pierluigi Ausonio Naval Architecture, and interiors by Lazzarini Pickering.

A contemporary take on a Benetti classic

The Motopanfilo name has long been associated with Benetti's elegant cruising yachts of the 1960s, and the modern 37M reinterprets those classic proportions with a cleaner, contemporary profile. Rather than relying on sharp, aggressive styling, the yacht favors long flowing lines, expansive glazing and carefully integrated outdoor spaces designed for extended time on the water.

With a gross tonnage of 298GT, one of the model's defining features is Benetti's elevated "Cocoon" observation area, positioned above the sundeck to create a secluded viewing platform with panoramic vistas. On Sundance, this joins a custom bow pool, generous sundeck entertaining spaces and a skylounge designed to maximize the connection between the interior and surrounding scenery.

Inside Sundance: A residential approach

Inside the yacht, Lazzarini Pickering has created a calm, residential atmosphere using natural materials, soft organic forms and oversized windows that flood the living spaces with daylight.

Curated finishes are paired with Loro Piana fabrics and furnishings from Minotti and Poliform, giving the interiors a distinctly contemporary Italian character. Throughout the superyacht, rounded architectural details and carefully layered textures create a softer aesthetic than is typically found aboard production superyachts. Accommodation is arranged across five staterooms.

A new arrival for Mediterranean charters

Sundance will immediately join the FGI Yacht Group charter fleet for her inaugural charter season in the West Mediterranean. As a newly delivered motor yacht, she enters the market with a fresh interior, modern amenities and a comprehensive selection of tenders and water toys, including a WaveRunner, paddleboards, snorkeling equipment and a floating Jet Ski dock.

Twin MAN V12 diesel engines produce a top speed of 18 knots, while a comfortable cruising speed of 10 knots delivers a maximum range of approximately 3,800 nautical miles. Supported by 35,000-liter fuel tanks, the yacht is well suited to extended passages as well as seasonal cruising programs.

Recognized by the YachtBuyer Hall of Fame

The delivery of Sundance adds another yacht to one of YachtBuyer's most highly regarded superyacht platforms. The Motopanfilo 37M earned a place in the YachtBuyer Hall of Fame 2022 after receiving a full YB five-star review, with praise for its timeless styling, spacious five-cabin layout, 3,800-nautical-mile range and thoughtfully designed deck spaces.
