31m Cantiere delle Marche RJ102 Explorer Yacht Mon Coeur Delivered

Cantiere delle Marche has delivered the 31m explorer yacht Mon Coeur, introducing the established RJ concept at its smallest size to date.

Launched in May 2026 and set to make her debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, Mon Coeur is the first yacht from the new Cantiere delle Marche RJ 102 series. Francesco Paszkowski Design penned the exterior, Giorgio M. Cassetta developed the interior, and Cantiere delle Marche handled the naval architecture.

The Smallest RJ Yacht Yet

At 31m, Mon Coeur sits below the RJ115, RJ130 and RJ155, making her the most compact member of Cantiere delle Marche's RJ range.

The challenge for exterior designer Francesco Paszkowski was to retain the visual presence associated with the larger yachts without making the smaller platform appear disproportionately heavy. The result uses a gently flared bow, recessed glazing and a curved stern, with long horizontal lines helping disguise the height of the superstructure.

Transparency is used extensively around the upper deck, including glass bulwarks that maintain views from the exterior living areas. Wide stairs lead down through the open stern toward the water, giving the aft section a stronger leisure focus than the workboat-style transoms once associated with traditional explorer yachts.

More Than 200 Square Meters of Outdoor Space

A substantial proportion of the available footprint has been given over to open-air living. More than 200 square meters of exterior deck area is distributed across three levels, with the upper deck providing one of Mon Coeur's most distinctive spaces. A dip pool sits alongside an extensive sunbathing area, while further zones are available for alfresco dining and lounging.

Deep deck overhangs provide shelter in hotter cruising grounds, an important detail for a yacht intended to spend extended periods away from its home port. Toy storage has also been incorporated into the layout, supporting an owner brief centered on long-distance exploration rather than short seasonal cruising.

An Interior Designed as a Long-Term Cruising Base

Giorgio M. Cassetta approached Mon Coeur as a superyacht for owners who expect to spend considerable time aboard. Rather than maximizing the number of cabins, the layout gives more space to a deliberately small guest group. Natural materials, warm finishes and curved bespoke furniture establish a residential character, while one particularly unusual feature is the large owner-operated galley.

That detail says much about the motor yacht's intended use. The owners wanted an onboard environment where they could remain closely involved in everyday life rather than separating owner and crew areas as strictly as on many yachts of this size. Accommodation is arranged for nine guests across four suites, including the owner's cabin. One guest cabin has an additional Pullman berth, while five crew support operations aboard.

The lifestyle-oriented layout sits on a platform developed for serious cruising. Twin Caterpillar C18 Acert IMO Tier III engines, each rated at 533kW, power the yacht. CdM states that Mon Coeur carries 30,000 liters of fuel and has a range exceeding 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Flexplorer and Deep Blue Projects Lead CdM Pipeline

Mon Coeur leaves the yard during a busy delivery period for Cantiere delle Marche. The shipyard handed over the first Deep Blue 115, Octopus, in July, while the 33m Nauta Air 110, Ammonite, was launched earlier that month. CdM also stated in April that it entered its latest ownership phase with a full order book.

According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, 10 Cantiere delle Marche yachts are now either under construction or on order. The pipeline includes units from the 49.9m Flexplorer 165, which offers a stated 5,000nm range and six-cabin layout, alongside examples of the 43.12m Deep Blue 141. The latter is the flagship of the Deep Blue series and won its category at the 2023 World Superyacht Awards. The order book also includes projects outside those two core series, extending CdM's pipeline across several sizes and explorer formats.
