Solaris Power’s long-range model arrives after its world premiere at Boot Düsseldorf earlier this year. Designed for extended cruising, the flybridge boat offers a choice of three or four guest cabins and outdoor spaces extending from the foredeck to the bathing platform.
A new direction for Solaris Power
The 70 Long Range is the largest powerboat Solaris Power has built, extending its range into flybridge yachts intended for longer stays aboard. Dragoni Design Lab and the Solaris Power design team are credited with its design. The boat’s deep, flared bow and high sides give it a different profile from the builder’s lower open and coupé models, while its GRP hull and superstructure support a layout spread over three decks.
Outdoor living from bow to stern
A shaded cockpit provides space for dining aft, with access down to a bathing platform that can be lowered towards the water. The tender garage can accommodate a 4m waterjet tender and water toys. Forward, a horseshoe-shaped sofa faces the bow, while the flybridge provides another area for guests to dine and relax. Wide side walkways connect the outdoor spaces.
Panoramic glazing shapes the saloon
Fully opening panoramic side windows bring air and views into the main-deck saloon. Buyers can specify a fold-down bulwark beside the saloon, although the first boat reviewed by YachtBuyer was built with a customised galley in its place. That arrangement shows how the space can be adapted to an owner’s priorities without assuming every 70 Long Range has the same layout.
Three or four guest cabins
The standard arrangement has three guest cabins, with an optional fourth cabin, bringing capacity to eight guests. Solaris Power identifies a full-beam master cabin and a forward VIP cabin, with separate accommodation and a bathroom for one crew member. Several lower-deck plans are offered, allowing buyers to choose a layout that suits the number of guests they regularly carry.
Volvo Penta IPS power and cruising range
The Solaris Power 70 Long Range offers twin 900hp Volvo Penta D13-IPS1200 engines or twin 1,000hp D13-IPS1350 engines. The model reaches a top speed of approximately 25 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots. Fuel capacity is 4,100 litres, with a further 1,200 litres of fresh water.
