The Ferretti 800 was launched on July 18 at the Cattolica shipyard, with exterior design by Filippo Salvetti and interiors by Ideaeitalia. Naval architecture and engineering came from Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee, chaired by Piero Ferrari, and the in-house engineering department.
Exterior Layout and Social Spaces on the Ferretti 800
The main deck aft features a seven-square-meter beach area that connects to a cockpit fitted with a glass parapet, enhancing views over the beach club and water. A forward living area on board the yacht includes a C-shaped sofa facing forward and a sunbed, creating a second open-air social space.

The flybridge covers 40 square meters and incorporates an al fresco dining area to starboard with a table and integrated sofa, complemented by a bar unit to port. The aft section is left open for freestanding furniture, allowing flexible use. The upper helm station is positioned forward with ergonomic seating and wide sightlines.
Onboard the Ferretti 800: Light-Filled Main Deck with Two-Meter Ceilings
The salon benefits from expansive windows that frame uninterrupted views. The launched motor yacht is finished in Ferretti’s Classic mood, using warm, earthy tones. The main seating area features a corner sofa positioned opposite a storage cabinet with a slide-out TV.

Ceiling heights reach two meters, adding to the sense of volume. The dining area is located forward of the salon, with the fully equipped galley directly connected through a sliding bulkhead. Separate walkways enable crew to move from the exterior to the galley and onward to the wheelhouse without passing through guest areas.

The lower deck houses a full-beam master suite amidships, a forward VIP cabin, and two guest cabins, each with a private en suite. In total, the superyacht provides eight guest berths. The crew area, accessed from the port side walkway, includes three cabins with separate access to the galley and wheelhouse.
A Key Milestone in the Flybridge Range Renewal
The Ferretti Yachts 800 marks the final stage of a range renewal process that began in 2018. With an overall length of 24.47 meters (80 feet 3 inches) and a maximum beam of 5.91 meters (19 feet 5 inches), the model also has a short-platform version available to comply with France’s 24-meter legal limit.

The first Ferretti Yachts 800 is powered by twin MAN V12 engines delivering 1,800 hp each, providing a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots.
Positioning the New 800 Within Ferretti’s Flybridge Family
The Ferretti Yachts 800 positions itself within the Ferretti Flybridge range neatly between the more compact 720 and the larger 1000, while sitting just above the 780 in both size and layout sophistication. Compared with the 22m Ferretti 720, the 800 offers more interior volume, a larger flybridge and enhanced separation of guest and crew areas, appealing to buyers seeking greater privacy and onboard comfort without stepping up to superyacht scale.

ON BOARDFerretti 720 Review (2019 Edition)
The Ferretti 780, at 24m, is closest in length, but the Ferretti 800 introduces fresh styling by Filippo Salvetti and Ideaeitalia alongside a layout refined for space and flow, including two-meter ceiling heights that add to the sense of openness.

Buyers who want still more space and a main deck owner’s suite can look to the 30m Ferretti 1000, which delivers a five-cabin layout for up to 10 guests and a superyacht-style interior. The 800, therefore, acts as a pivotal model for owners who want a clear step up from the 720 and 780 in terms of volume and luxury, but are not ready for the scale and crew requirements of the flagship 1000.
