Design Philosophy Rooted in Restraint and Renewal
With exterior lines by Zuccon International Project and interiors by Lissoni & Partners, SHE draws clear influence from the clean geometry of the 1960s but expresses it through a contemporary lens. The architecture is fluid rather than fixed: spaces adapt to the owner’s rhythm, opening and reconfiguring without compromising elegance. Inside, the mood is intentionally understated, recalling a Milanese lounge through a curated palette of warm mahogany, sculptural furniture, and fine detailing. Each element contributes to a sense of warmth and quiet precision, balancing heritage character with modern sensitivity.

An Evolving Space Designed to Be Lived
Externally, SHE embodies the grace and practicality that define Sanlorenzo’s design language. Full-height glazing and symmetrical volumes give the yacht its signature transparency, while the layout prioritizes flow between interior and exterior spaces.
The stern of the motor yacht remains discreet while underway but unfolds at anchor into a wide sea-level terrace, expanding the outdoor area and reinforcing the yacht’s connection to the water. The main deck extends across a single, barrier-free level, creating a flexible cockpit that owners can personalize for social or private use. Decking is finished in a sustainable synthetic reinterpretation of teak, chosen for its low maintenance and cooler surface temperature, 3 to 4°C lower than traditional teak, while preserving the aesthetic of classic yacht design.
The superstructure rises over two staggered levels, integrating a foredeck solarium and upper sun deck designed to minimize visual bulk. Outdoor spaces are enhanced by the Smart Island system - modular furniture developed jointly by Sanlorenzo, Zuccon, and Lissoni - allowing deck layouts to shift without interrupting sightlines. The hull incorporates one-way glazing to preserve the purity of the profile, reinforcing the yacht’s minimalist aesthetic.
Interiors by Lissoni & Partners: A Study in Quiet Luxury
Within, SHE carries a layout designed around continuity and comfort. The main deck hosts a lounge, bar, and helm station that flow into the aft cockpit through full-height glass. A circular staircase leads to a slightly lower mezzanine level containing the dining area and galley, creating a layered yet cohesive environment on board the superyacht.

Below, the full-beam owner’s suite occupies the stern, complemented by a VIP and guest cabin - all en suite and finished in natural tones and fine materials. Forward lie two crew cabins for three, alongside a secondary galley and service area that maintain clear separation from guest quarters.
Sanlorenzo’s art director Piero Lissoni described SHE as “a gentle yacht” that “reuses traditional elements and evokes the grace of the 1960s but leaps forward into 2030. It’s a modern yacht with many innovations, expressed through a softened aesthetic language.”
Sanlorenzo’s First Volvo Penta Hybrid Installation
Beyond its sculptural form, SHE introduces a technical milestone for the shipyard - Sanlorenzo’s first installation of Volvo Penta’s IPS30 hybrid system. The setup pairs twin 1,000 hp diesel engines with dual 160 kW electric motors, offering silent, zero-emission cruising up to 9 knots and hybrid speeds up to 20 knots.
The system incorporates three key operational modes:
- Full-electric propulsion for quiet navigation in protected zones or harbors
- Automatic battery recharge during diesel operation, reaching 100% in 45 minutes and allowing overnight generator-free stays
- Booster mode, in which electric thrust supplements diesel power for improved performance and reduced fuel consumption
Complementing the yacht is a custom 3.95-meter carbon-fiber tender powered by an electric motor - a lightweight, silent extension of the main vessel’s philosophy. Hull construction utilizes sandwich lamination with bio-based resins to reduce weight and environmental footprint, underscoring Sanlorenzo’s commitment to innovation with purpose.
Positioning SHE in Sanlorenzo’s Next Chapter
The unveiling of SHE follows the shipyard’s major press conference at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, where Sanlorenzo announced nine new models across its range. Among them were evolutions of established lines - including the SL80A, SX136, and 48 Alloy - as well as new explorer designs such as the 500EXP Mk II and the flagship 1150EXP.
Within that lineup, SHE stood apart as an independent project, emphasizing Sanlorenzo’s capacity to move fluidly between categories - from technical exploration to pure design expression. Launched in the year of Sanlorenzo’s 20th anniversary under Perotti’s leadership, SHE serves as both a reflection of the yard’s heritage and a statement of intent for its future.
