At its core, the ST88 explorer yacht is a steel-hulled explorer designed to go the distance. With a beam of 6.2 meters (20 feet 3 inches) and a draft of 1.9 meters (6 feet 2 inches), the vessel offers a substantial platform for extended voyages. Its twin 615hp Caterpillar C18 ACERT engines are IMO Tier III compliant and paired with ZF gearboxes, giving the ST88 a top speed of 14 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 12 knots. Most notably, she boasts a long-range capability of 2,800 nautical miles.

This performance of the yacht is backed by serious engineering. The hull is certified Lloyd’s Register +100A1 SSC, Yacht, Mono, G6, and an option for full class compliance is available. Construction is split between StellarPM’s Hai Phong yard in Vietnam, where the hull, superstructure, and finishing are completed, and its Zhuhai facility in China, which manufactures the pre-engineered modular interiors. Naval architecture comes from Ginton Naval Architects of the Netherlands, with interior design by Turkish studio Unzile Acar Interiors.
Owner-Focused Layouts
The standard layout of the ST88 has been designed with both owner-operation and full crewed service in mind. Accommodation onboard the motor yacht is offered for eight guests across four guest staterooms, including an on-deck master suite. There are also two crew cabins supporting up to four crew members, making the yacht flexible for various operating preferences.
The interiors feature a calm, contemporary style with matte walnut finishes, marble bathrooms, and motorized blinds. Entertainment is handled by a Samsung/Fusion AV system. Systems throughout the yacht have been optimized for redundancy and global maintainability, including Humphree stabilizers, dual 45kW Caterpillar gensets, a 1400GPD watermaker, and a C-Zone monitoring suite.
Maximized Exterior Space
A highlight of the ST88 is its expansive flybridge, described by the builder as “class-beating.” It features a Jacuzzi, full bar, barbecue, multiple seating areas, and a helm station. Optional M-Configuration on the forward section of the flybridge includes built-in seating, tables, handrails, a sunlounge, teak decking, and direct steps to the foredeck. This setup not only enhances outdoor usability but also enables a full-beam master suite below.
At the stern, a beach club provides space for twin sun loungers and direct water access. The yacht also includes a full-beam integral tender garage, offering ample storage for tenders and watersports gear without sacrificing exterior aesthetics.
A High-Performance Alternative
For buyers looking for greater speed, StellarPM offers an all-aluminum semi-displacement version of the ST88. This variant swaps the steel hull for lighter construction and installs twin 1,800hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines. The result is a top speed of 22 knots and a reduced range of 2,200 nautical miles. The aluminum version also comes with a one-meter hull extension, expanding deck space and interior volume.

The launch of the ST88 follows strong momentum behind the larger StellarONE ST108, a 33m raised pilothouse explorer offering a 3,400-nautical-mile range and five-stateroom layout including a full-beam master on the main deck. Built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the ST108 features foldout balconies, a beach club, and a tender garage, all to Lloyd’s class standards. The first unit is nearing completion in Vietnam, with a second StellarONE ST108 already under construction for delivery in early 2027.
