The new build carries the hallmarks of the GT range while advancing the design language with bold exterior styling, expansive outdoor areas, and interiors shaped for light and comfort. Exterior design by Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi takes cues from automotive and aeronautical forms, delivering a profile ISA describes as a “grand sea coupe.”
Sporting profile and exterior features
The yacht’s taut, flowing lines sharpen ISA’s signature bow and extend into a long, flat foredeck clad entirely in teak. This area doubles as a lounge with minimalist furnishings, illuminated inserts, and dramatic fireplaces. Floor-to-ceiling glazing runs along the main deck, further integrating interior and exterior spaces.
A metallic blue-grey paint scheme, drawn from luxury sports car palettes, enhances the sculpted volumes and curvature of the hull. Wide side decks shaped like aircraft wings add dynamism while opening up outdoor circulation and creating clear views over glass balustrades.
Key exterior elements on board the superyacht include a sculptural polished steel bow pulpit and an aft main deck centered on a large infinity pool flanked by sunloungers.
Interior design and materials
The interior continues the exterior’s language of fluid lines and organic forms. Curved furnishings and sculpted surfaces are finished in warm woods, wenge detailing, marble, and satin brass. The result is a contemporary style that balances glamour with comfort.
A standout feature is the sky lounge, worked into the yacht’s profile with twin lateral fins and a rounded superstructure volume. The space is designed for flexible use and can function as a dining room, fitness area, or panoramic lounge. A forward Jacuzzi completes the deck arrangement.
The full-beam master stateroom, set forward on the main deck, benefits from broad windows and natural light. The suite on board the motor yacht includes a lounge, large walk-in closet, and bathroom with double sinks.
Also on this level are two guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms.
Wellness and relaxation spaces
A wellness zone forms part of the lower deck, with spa facilities and fold-out terraces that extend the connection to the water.
The layout is shaped around sociability and ease of use, reinforcing the performance-driven yet lifestyle-focused spirit of the Granturismo series.
The GT 66 builds on ISA’s reputation for large custom yachts that balance strong visual identity with advanced engineering. It is the latest evolution of a line that helped establish the Ancona-based yard internationally, led by the success of superyacht Okto.
Major Builds in the ISA Yachts Order Book
The shipyard has an ambitious order book; according to YachtBuyer Market Watch, the world's largest yacht database, ISA Yachts currently has 11 yachts either in build or on order. Among the most prominent projects is the 66.4-meter Maddam C, an ISA Sportiva 66 due for delivery in 2027. Styled inside and out by Nuvolari Lenard, the yacht features a sharp reverse bow, signature ISA arches, and an interior defined by clean lines and rich materials. Highlights include two custom pools, a cinema-equipped sky lounge, and a transatlantic range exceeding 5,000 nautical miles.
Also under construction is Project Future, the first GranTurismo 80, measuring 80 meters with an interior and exterior by Enrico Gobbi’s Team for Design. Scheduled for completion in 2027, the yacht will accommodate 12 guests across six suites and mark a significant step forward in the GranTurismo range with its 2,250 GT volume.
Looking ahead to 2028, the shipyard will deliver the first ISA Continental 80, a 79.9-meter project with exterior design by Team for Design and interiors by Luca Dini Design & Architecture. This yacht will introduce architectural lines, expansive panoramic windows, and a stern infinity pool with a cascading glass wall, alongside an owner’s private retreat on the upper deck.
ISA’s new 66-meter Granturismo reinforces the yard’s reputation for shaping yachts that merge bold aesthetics with practical lifestyle features. With a strong pipeline of projects from 66 to 80 meters, the Ancona yard is positioning itself at the forefront of contemporary Italian yacht building.
