This Cranchi 62 flybridge uses a fast hull form with a straight stem and long waterline, so the bow adds volume and softens head seas while the aft sections support IPS thrust at higher speeds. The engine room carries the IPS units ahead of the pods with a Seakeeper 9 gyro set on the centreline, a generator, twin fuel tanks with change-over filters and Glendinning shore-power reels, all laid out for direct access rather than show. The flybridge stretches the full length of the hardtop, with a wet bar, dinette and aft sunpad, plus a vane-style sunroof above the upper helm for controlled light and air. Down on deck, a strong foredeck lounge with tables, cooler, stereo control and pop-up backrests pairs with a shaded cockpit to give two clear outdoor zones on a hull size that still suits an owner-driver or a single skipper and deckhand. For this new project, the art direction has once again been handled by Christian Grande, guaranteeing family feeling with the company's two widely appreciated larger models. While it may be the smallest of the three, the Sessantadue 62 ft gives up nothing in terms of having distinctive and peculiar characteristics both in its exterior lines and the choice of interior decor.
