More Details

Delivered in 2011, Ace is a 26.88m motor yacht for sale built by British shipyard Sunseeker. Sunseeker is responsible for the complete look and feel of the superyacht, having created the interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture.

Key Features

  • 26-knot top speed
  • Hydraulic swim platform
  • Flybridge retractable sunroof
  • Full-beam master suite

Design & Construction

Designed around a modified v-hull GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.3m beam and a 3.3m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 101 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Ace is a 26.9m (88.3ft) Sunseeker 88 Yacht with the kind of profile that still looks sharp more than a decade after launch. The hull sits low and fast on the water, while the long bands of dark glazing pull the eye right through the superstructure and into the hardtop above. Finished in a custom two-tone scheme, the yacht leans harder into the aggressive side of Sunseeker styling than many white-hulled examples from the same period.

The flybridge roof is a big part of the look. Its swept supports and slim hardtop give the upper deck a lighter feel, even with the amount of space packed into it. From above, the deck layout becomes clearer too. Broad walkaround side decks connect the yacht cleanly from stern to bow, while the foredeck keeps a dedicated lounging zone with oversized sunpads and forward seating tucked behind the windscreen.

Aft, the cockpit flows naturally into the saloon through wide sliding doors, so the whole main deck feels connected when opened up. The dining setup under the overhang works well underway thanks to the shelter from wind and sun, while the hydraulic swim platform extends the usable space right down to the water. There is also garage storage aft for toys and tender gear, which helps keep the decks uncluttered.

The flybridge is where most guests will end up during long afternoons at anchor. A wet bar, relaxed seating areas and sun loungers spread beneath the hardtop, and the retractable sunroof changes the mood quickly depending on the weather. Even fully loaded with furniture, the deck still feels open because of the yacht’s beam and the amount of clear deck space left around the seating areas.

Interior Design

Inside, Ace feels warmer and more relaxed than the sharp exterior lines first suggest. Large side windows pull plenty of daylight into the saloon, and the combination of dark timber flooring, satin wood veneers and cream soft furnishings keeps the space bright without losing depth.

The main saloon has a simple, practical layout that works well for charter use or private cruising. Lounge seating sits aft beside the large windows, while the dining area moves forward closer to the helm. There is enough separation between the two spaces for each to feel distinct, though the deck still reads as one long open room.

Sunseeker avoided heavy styling tricks here. Instead, the focus stays on clean lines, balanced lighting and materials that wear well over time. Dark timber framing around the ceilings adds definition overhead, while leather finishes and softer fabrics stop the room feeling too formal.

Sightlines also help the interior. From almost anywhere in the saloon there is either a view outside or a visual link to another part of the yacht, so the space never feels boxed in. Open the aft doors and the cockpit becomes part of the room almost immediately.

Accommodation

Ace accommodates up to eight guests across four ensuite cabins on the lower deck, with the full-beam master suite positioned amidships where the yacht has the most volume. Large hull windows bring in far more daylight than many yachts from this era, and the extra beam through the centre of the hull gives the cabin a calmer, less cramped feel underway.

Forward, the VIP cabin takes the bow, while two twin guest cabins sit between the owner’s suite and the VIP. The twins work well for family groups or charter guests, and the overall arrangement keeps all accommodation on one level without long companionways breaking up the layout.

The styling below deck follows the same tone as the main saloon. Warm timber finishes, soft lighting and clean-lined cabinetry keep the cabins smart without becoming overly glossy or theatrical. Storage has also been handled well for a yacht under 30 metres, especially in the master suite.

Crew accommodation for two allows the yacht to run with a compact team while still keeping service separate from guest areas.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32) 1,902hp engines, motor yacht Ace is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 22 knots.
