Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.53m beam and a 2.36m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 432 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2002. Launched in July 2003 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2004.

Exterior Design

The 44.5m (146ft) Trinity SummerDance presents a classic raised pilothouse profile, and the image makes that clear with its long bow, high freeboard, and balanced superstructure. The dark hull contrasts with the white upper decks, so the yacht keeps a strong, traditional presence on the water.

The bow is long and fine, which suits the semi-displacement hull and gives the yacht a steady, purposeful look underway. A Portuguese bridge sits forward of the wheelhouse, and it adds both protection and a usable forward deck space.

The superstructure is arranged across three clear levels, with large rectangular windows running along both decks. These bring light into the interior and break up the visual mass of this 44.5m (146ft) Trinity yacht.

Aft decks are wide and practical, with space for dining and lounging across multiple levels. The sundeck sits high above, and it is arranged with a Jacuzzi forward, sun loungers, and a shaded bar area under the mast structure.

At water level, the extended swim platform improves access to the sea, and it also supports tender operations and water sports. This addition, along with the clean stern lines, gives SummerDance a more usable aft setup for modern cruising.

SummerDance's design combines functionality with understated elegance, providing a range of amenities and features that cater to both guest enjoyment and operational efficiency.

Interior Design

The interior of SummerDance reflects a traditional Trinity build, updated through refit to feel lighter and more usable.

The main salon combines dark wood joinery with lighter soft furnishings, and large windows bring in natural light, so the space avoids feeling heavy. Seating is arranged in a straightforward layout, and a pop-up TV keeps the room flexible between lounge and media use.

The formal dining area sits forward and accommodates up to ten guests. Service stations are placed nearby, so crew can operate efficiently without disrupting the space.

On the upper deck, the skylounge adds a second interior living area. A bar with refrigeration and storage supports this space, and the ceiling detail, including a map-style feature, gives it a distinct identity without overcomplicating the design.

Across the yacht, lighting is built into the joinery and staircases, so movement between decks is clear and controlled.

Accommodation

SummerDance accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins.

The owner’s suite is located on the main deck and runs full beam. It includes a king-size bed, a private office area, and large windows that bring in natural light. The en suite bathroom features a jet tub, skylight, and generous space across the full width of the yacht.

Guest accommodation sits on the lower deck. Three double cabins provide king-size beds, en suite bathrooms, and storage, and each follows the same layout approach.

A twin cabin includes a Pullman berth, so it can accommodate up to three guests and works well for families or flexible group use.

Crew accommodation is for up to nine, which supports full service on board this Trinity motor yacht.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512 B) 12-cylinder 2,250hp engines running at 1925rpm, motor yacht SummerDance is capable of reaching a top speed of 19 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 38,986 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,300 nautical miles at 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. SummerDance also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
