Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 39'1" beam and a 16'5" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 1,801 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

Construction started in late 2002 with the keel laid under the project name 'Y661'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in January 2005 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2005.

Exterior Design

AHS has a long sheerline flowing aft into a classic canoe stern, with a hull finished in white, contrasted by the darker tones of her superstructure, giving the yacht a balanced look while holding onto traditional elements in her stern shape. Deck arrangements are laid out with scale and variety in mind. The sundeck is one of her defining spaces, centred around a 19,000-litre (5,019 US gallons) swimming pool edged with stepped waterfalls that flow around a glass-sided Jacuzzi. This broad expanse also accommodates a certified helipad that, when not required for flight operations, becomes a wide open terrace for sunbathing and lounging.

Dining and socialising outdoors is well supported. An exterior table with seating for 18 makes it possible to host large groups, and evenings can be carried into an open-air cinema setup built into the deck. Lower down, the beach club and swim platform give immediate access to the water. From here, guests can move between the sea and the yacht’s collection of four tenders, housed in a spacious garage.

Interior Design

The interiors, styled by the late Alberto Pinto, lean toward a refined blend of comfort and subtle elegance. Macassar, ebony, and sycamore panelling form the backbone of the design, their natural tones balanced by nickel-plated accents. Large picture windows in the main deck saloon bring daylight into the space and frame sea views, lifting the atmosphere and broadening the sense of scale.

Social spaces are arranged to cater to different moods. The main saloon is paired with a dedicated cinema room, fitted with deep sofas and advanced audio-visual systems for immersive viewing. Above, the skylounge incorporates two separate lounge areas and a bar, making it a natural gathering point. Adjoining this is an office, framed by floor-to-ceiling vertical windows, providing a quiet working environment with uninterrupted views.

Attention to detail carries through in circulation areas as well, where high-gloss wood panels and stainless-steel details line the staircases that connect the decks.

Accommodation

AHS offers accommodation for 16 guests across eight cabins. The full-beam master suite includes a private lounge, a drop-down double-sided television, and a personal office, giving the owner a retreat with dedicated living and working areas. A large VIP suite sits alongside four double cabins, each styled to the same standard of finish. Two additional cabins add flexibility, able to host guests or personal staff as required.

Crew areas are designed for a complement of up to 18, ensuring the yacht can be run to a high standard while maintaining comfortable conditions for those working on board.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Deutz (SBV 12M628) 3,016hp engines, motor yacht AHS is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 47,551 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Amenities

A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Full cinema facilities ensure five-star entertainment and a generous beach club offers direct access to the ocean. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
