Design & Construction
Designed around a deep vee GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.43m beam and a 1.8m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 84 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Stardust of Mary is a Sunseeker 86 Yacht and has the sharp profile that defines the later MK2 generation. The 26.3m (86.3ft) yacht combines the volume of a raised pilothouse motor yacht with the stance of a sports cruiser, so despite the substantial internal volume and full flybridge arrangement, the silhouette still feels low, fast and well balanced on the water.
The profile is shaped around a high plumb-style bow, flowing sheerline and elongated superstructure capped by a dark carbon-fibre hardtop. The hardtop integrates closely with the radar arch, reducing visual bulk around the flybridge and helping maintain the yacht’s aggressive sporty character.
One of the defining exterior features is the extensive glazing arrangement. Large panoramic windows sweep across the main deck and hull sides, creating a continuous ribbon of dark glass that visually stretches the yacht’s length while also bringing significant natural light into the saloon and lower accommodation spaces.
Angular detailing around the superstructure, gunwales and transom reinforces the modern Sunseeker styling language, while the foredeck remains clean and integrated into the low-profile coachroof. This area combines recessed sunpads with additional seating and optional shade for relaxed daytime use.
Outdoor living is spread across several connected deck spaces. The main deck aft includes an alfresco dining area with built-in seating and teak decking, while the flybridge expands into a larger entertainment zone with a wet bar, barbecue, lounge seating and open-air dining beneath the hardtop.
A fold-down balcony on the starboard side extends directly from the saloon to create an over-water terrace at anchor, strengthening the indoor-outdoor connection even further. At the stern, curved steps descend toward a broad hydraulic swim platform that supports water access as well as tender and toy operations.
Interior Design
The interior of Stardust of Mary combines Sunseeker’s sporty exterior styling with a warmer, more traditional finish inside. Black American walnut joinery, glossy wood panelling and cream leather accents run throughout the guest areas, creating a richer atmosphere balanced by large windows and open sightlines.
The main saloon is arranged as an open-plan social space with large opposing sofas, lounge chairs, integrated entertainment systems and a bar area. Wraparound glazing brings substantial daylight into the saloon while also giving broad sea views from seated positions. Forward, a formal dining area seats up to eight guests, while a raised breakfast bar sits further ahead to maximise outward visibility through the forward windows.
Accommodation
Stardust of Mary accommodates up to eight guests overnight across four ensuite cabins, while cruising capacity rises to ten guests during day use. Crew accommodation for four is positioned separately on the lower deck to support discreet onboard service.
The full-beam master suite sits amidships and takes advantage of the yacht’s broad beam and elongated hull glazing. Finished with glossy wood panelling and cream leather detailing, the cabin includes a private lounge area overlooking the water as well as a spa-style ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
Forward, the VIP suite provides generous accommodation for guests, while two twin cabins aft can convert into doubles when required.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (10V2000M94) 2,000hp engines, motor yacht Stardust of Mary is capable of reaching a top speed of 30 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 11,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
