First generation models (Gen 1, 1997 - 2001) are the most affordable, priced at $288k. The first generation models spend the shortest time on the market, on average around 27 days, suggesting they remain appealing to a specific segment of buyers despite their older features but they don't tend to need to lower the price in order to sell. The second generation models have the longest average time on the market, sitting for about 233 days, suggesting lower demand, nostalgia for previous generations, or unpopular features, and on average, they end up 5.82% lower than their initial asking price.
Princess started development on the V55 in 1997. The second generation was launched in 2019 and saw its World Debut at Southampton International Boat Show the following year.
