A classic Galeon feature are the drop balconies that can be extended to enlarge the cockpit when the boat is stationary, and the hi-lo bathing platform that transforms into steps leading into the water.

On the foredeck, there is a fantastic seating area with easily foldable seats.  A clever feature is the glass floor, that enables light to enter through to the lower decks.  

The Galeon 470 Sky also features a small flybridge area with an upper helm and a cosy seating area.  This entire flybridge can all be folded down flat, and then covered electronically with the touch of a button. 

Part of the yacht's clever design is how the bifold doors and sliding windows merge the indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly. There are multiple wood choices available, in this particular example there is a matte finish walnut. The galley is practical and well-equipped, complete with a dishwasher, fridge, and all-electric cooking.

In the saloon there is a spacious seating area, extendable dining table, and a TV that can be powered out. Features include large windows in the ceiling and a front section that can be powered back, creating a sports cruiser like feel.

The Galeon 470 Sky has a three cabin layout. The owner's cabin, is commended for its clever design features to maximize headroom. The VIP guest cabin has large ceiling windows and ample storage space. Also mentioned is the day head and the bunk cabin. The boat's sub-50 foot length is designed with owner-operators in mind, however the yacht is spacious despite its small size.

The yacht's power is provided by two Volvo Penta D8-600 V-drive engines that enable a top speed of around 30 knots. At a cruising speed of 25 knots, a range of 250 nm can be achieved.

Overall, Nick seems quite impressed with the Galleon 470 Skydeck, lauding its adaptability, design features, and comfortable experience for boating enthusiasts.
