On Deck
The Horizon PC60’s catamaran design allows for a beam just under 7.6m (25ft), giving it exceptional deck space for a 60-foot yacht. The aft deck includes a shaded lounging and dining area with integrated seating, a fridge, ice maker, and a gear locker. An optional hi-lo hydraulic platform sits at the transom, suitable for launching a jet ski, while the tender is stowed on the upper boat deck and launched via a crane, capable of handling a 4.9m (16ft) tender.
Up on the flybridge, the PC60 features a semi-open layout with isinglass side panels, though a fully enclosed sky lounge version is also available. Amenities include a bar with fridge and ice maker, a dinette, and a daybed-style seat opposite the helm. A bimini on carbon poles provides sun protection. The day heads and an additional freezer are tucked into this level as well.
Forward, the Portuguese bridge layout includes a centreline companionway, forward seating with drop-down tables, and a substantial toy locker that currently stores dive gear but can be configured for paddleboards or fishing equipment. There is also direct access from the flybridge helm to the bow, making single-handed mooring or anchoring more practical. Additional touches include bathing spaces and folding side steps down to the bathing platform.
Interior Accommodation
For the main deck, two layout choices are available - the reviewed yacht has an owner's suite forward, but this space can be opened up to create a full-beam saloon. The galley is positioned aft with a bar area nearby, fitted with a Miele cooker, hob, full-height fridge, freezer drawers, and extensive storage. The open-plan layout encourages interaction, ideal for owner-operators. The décor features a light wood finish with darker high-gloss accents and burr veneer detailing on cabinetry.
Opposite the galley, a TV is mounted on a hinge that can rotate for optimal viewing angles. Nearby are the yacht’s central control systems: an AC control panel, solar readouts, generator and watermaker controls, Victron inverter and charger, and ample general storage. A wine cooler and additional shelving sit just off the main area.
Owner's Cabin
The owner's suite is positioned on the main deck forward, behind a removable bulkhead that allows for a flexible layout. Large forward-facing windows, overhead hatches, and side glazing flood the cabin with natural light. The palette follows the rest of the interior, using light woods with high-gloss darker detailing and burr veneer accents.
To starboard, steps lead down to a private en suite with a spacious wardrobe area, separate shower, toilet, and basin. The cabin’s generous volume is a direct result of the catamaran’s beam, delivering far more space than a typical monohull of the same length.
Guest Accommodation
The guest accommodation is split across the two hulls. The forward VIP cabin occupies an extended space that bridges into the centre section above the waterline, allowing for greater internal width. This suite includes large windows and its own en suite with a separate shower, toilet, and basin. Finishes mirror those in the main saloon with pale timber and gloss accents.
Further aft in each hull are two more guest cabins. One sits in the starboard hull, sharing the day heads on that level, while another lies portside with similar features. These include hanging lockers, underbed storage, and glazed windows behind blinds. Both cabins are well-finished and use the same design language seen throughout the yacht.
Crew Accommodation
One of the aft lower cabins is suitable for use as a crew cabin if required. It includes sleeping space, storage, and access to the yacht’s electrical systems via a concealed compartment containing the Victron charger, inverter, and associated hardware. Crew would use the shared day heads, and access routes remain discreet and practical.
Performance
Each hull houses its own engine room, accessed via hatches at the aft end of the boat. The PC60 is powered by twin MAN i6 850hp engines, delivering a top speed of 25 knots and a cruising speed of 20-21 knots. At cruise, range is around 550 nautical miles, while an economical speed of 8 knots stretches this to approximately 1,200 nautical miles.
One hull contains the air-conditioning systems, while the other houses the generator and shore power cable handling system. Both spaces are equipped with electric and manual bilge pumps, raw water intake systems, fuel filters, and offer good access for service. The presence of ZipWake trim tabs is noteworthy on a catamaran, suggesting fine-tuning for ride comfort and efficiency. The PC60’s control suite includes triple Garmin screens, MAN engine instrumentation, bow and stern thrusters, and ZipWake interfaces, all managed from a central vertical helm station.
In Summary
The Horizon PC60 shows why power catamarans are surging in popularity. At just 18.3m (60ft), it delivers extraordinary internal volume, a spacious main deck with flexible layout options, and capable long-range performance. With thoughtful separation between social spaces and private accommodation, a wealth of customisation options, and practical detailing from bow to stern, the PC60 offers a compelling blend of comfort and capability for experienced owner-operators or relaxed family cruising.
