On Deck

The Horizon PC60 makes the most of its wide catamaran platform, with outdoor areas that feel properly generous. Starting aft, the sugar scoops are oversized and cleverly shaped to wrap around for easy boarding from a tender or dock. Both sides feature retractable swim ladders tucked beneath removable staples, keeping the steps clear when swimming or launching gear.

This hull includes the optional hi-lo hydraulic platform at the stern, which can be used to launch a jet ski or extend the beach club feel. The aft cockpit offers shaded alfresco dining for up to eight, alongside a smaller table to port, and is fitted out with a fridge, ice maker, and sink. Storage lockers line the space, and Horizon’s outfitting includes practical touches like gaff holders, rubber mats to reduce moisture buildup, and a dedicated bosun’s locker. Everything is laid out with an eye for usability and low-maintenance living.

Up top, the flybridge is protected by a Strata glass enclosure, sheltering a bar with sink and fridge, a freezer, an optional grill, and an upper dinette opposite the helm. There's even a dayhead tucked into this level, a rare and welcome feature for a boat this size. The top deck also serves as the boat deck, with capacity for a 4.3m (14ft) or larger tender launched via a Steelhead crane rated to 794kg (1,750lb). Once the tender is offloaded, there’s plenty of space for lounge chairs or furniture. A clever soft enclosure protects the staircase in poor weather, solving the usual spiral stair trade-offs.

Forward, the PC60 introduces a proper Portuguese bridge setup. This is a standout feature that not only allows for direct access from the helm to the bow but also makes line handling and mooring far easier, especially when short-handed. The deck includes secure handrails, forward seating with drop-down tables, and versatile lockers for dive gear, fenders, or watersports equipment. Chain locker access is excellent, with colour-coded chain markings, foot controls, and a stainless plough anchor with bridle lines. Storage throughout includes sunshade poles, paddleboard gear, and even bean bags tucked neatly away. Altogether, it’s a layout that’s both sociable and supremely practical.

Interior Accommodation

Sliding glass doors lead into a saloon that feels more like a luxury apartment than a 60-foot yacht. Thanks to the catamaran beam and light finishes, the sense of space is excellent. The galley is aft and fully loaded, with Miele appliances including a four-plus-burner induction cooktop, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer drawers, dual sinks with garbage disposal, filtered and regular taps, and plenty of deep storage drawers. There’s even countertop seating for three at an island-style bar.

Forward of the galley, the lounge area is fitted with a large sofa, hi-lo table, and storage everywhere you look. The loose ottomans can be moved for movie nights, especially with the TV that swings out from its mounted position. Horizon’s use of materials is subtle and upmarket, with marble countertops, integrated shades in the windows, and whisper-quiet air conditioning from ThermoDynamica, all powered by a lithium-ion battery bank and Victron Energy management system. The saloon ceiling height is particularly striking at over 2.1m (7ft), reinforcing the sense of volume on board.

On the flybridge, the upper helm area is both a control center and a relaxed social hub. Twin helm chairs face a triple 56cm (22in) Garmin display setup, ZipWake interceptor control, MAN engine monitors, joystick backup steering, and all the usual navigation and communication tools. An L-shaped dinette and a convertible seating area nearby can double as a nap spot or lounge. Storage continues to impress, with cavernous lockers under the cushions.

Owner's Cabin

The owner’s suite is forward on the main deck, taking full advantage of the Portuguese deck design to provide a flat, high-ceilinged space with outstanding natural light. Large side windows, multiple forward panes, and overhead hatches keep it bright even with the blinds down. The king-size bed lifts to reveal deep storage beneath, while additional drawers and cabinets are found throughout the space.

There’s a pop-up TV, side tables, and an inviting sense of calm. A large cedar-lined closet sits aft, with more drawer storage below and a well-placed skylight above the vanity. The ensuite bathroom is full beam, with dual sinks, a large walk-in shower with a bench, and excellent storage both behind mirrors and beneath the counter.

Guest Accommodation

Guest accommodation is split between both hulls. To port is a twin cabin that converts into a large double (effectively a Euro King), with storage lockers, a big fixed porthole, and direct access to a shared bathroom that doubles as the dayhead. The starboard hull contains a second twin cabin with similar storage and access to that same bathroom.

Further forward in the starboard hull is the VIP suite, featuring a queen bed, deep hanging lockers, large underbed storage, and additional cabinetry. The ensuite head includes a large shower with seating, overhead hatch, and an openable porthole for light and ventilation. The atmosphere throughout is quiet, thanks to sound insulation and efficient air systems.

Crew Accommodation

Aft in the starboard hull is a utility space that can double as a crew cabin or technical zone. It includes a washer and dryer tucked behind sliding doors, a built-in ironing board, and extensive storage lockers. One of the highlights here is access to the yacht’s electrical systems via a “panic room” style breaker panel space, which is neatly air-conditioned and well-organized with inverter chargers, battery management, and cabling all clearly laid out.

Performance

Each hull contains its own engine room, housing twin MAN i6 850hp engines in a V-drive configuration. These are paired with Veem propellers and interceptor strips, contributing to an extra 2.5 knots of speed over earlier setups. With a top speed of 25 knots, the PC60 cruises comfortably at 20 to 21 knots and can stretch out to 1,200 nautical miles at an 8-knot eco cruise.

The engine rooms are spacious and easy to access, with clearly labeled systems and service points. From the watermaker membranes and oil change system to the hydraulic pack for the swim platform and electro-strainers for seawater filtration, everything is laid out with servicing in mind. The air conditioning chillers and genset are also split between the hulls for redundancy and balance.

In Summary

The Horizon PC60 Portuguese deck version feels like a liveaboard built for real cruising life. It’s got so many cool, unique features that make a difference day to day, whether it’s the proper shower off the back, the crazy amount of storage, or that super solid Portuguese bridge setup that lets you run forward without using the aft staircase. The layout is very clever too. With the owner’s cabin forward on the main deck, that sky lounge-level saloon stays quiet and icy cold thanks to the ThermoDynamica AC system and lithium battery bank.
