Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 27'9" beam and a 8'9" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 420 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Launched in November 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
Launched in November 2024, Andiamo is Hull No.1 of the Sanlorenzo SD132 and the flagship of the shipyard’s long-running semi-displacement line. At 40.7m (133.5ft) and 420 gross tons, she is the largest composite-built yacht Sanlorenzo has produced, carrying forward the legacy of earlier SD models while pushing the concept into new territory.
Her exterior strikes a bold and purposeful tone, blending strong architectural detailing with a clear sense of function. The cream hull contrasts subtly with the clean white superstructure that stretches across six decks. Volume and proportion are carefully balanced, helped by the asymmetrical superstructure, where the main deck walkway runs to port and the upper deck shifts to starboard. From most angles, the variation is so discreet it barely registers, but the effect inside is transformative.
The decks offer a variety of outdoor settings, tuned to different moods and times of day. Aft on the upper bridge deck, there is a full dining setup for 10, alongside a bar and a raised lounge area, all arranged to capture the views. Above that, the fly deck delivers a vast 85sq/m (915sq/ft) of space, anchored by a forward living area with a crystal-clear mini pool fitted with a sunbathing system. The sundeck section is relaxed and sociable, with generous lounge seating, a large wet bar and protection from a louvered hardtop that lets guests fine-tune their exposure to the elements.
Forward on the bow, a substantial pool adds another layer to the leisure offering. Surrounded by open views, it becomes a focal point for sunbathing or for slipping into the water under the stars. At sea level, the 70sq/m (753sq/ft) beach club opens on three sides, with shell doors that fold out to the height of the main deck cap rails. The space connects directly with the aft cockpit, clearing away visual barriers to create an unbroken terrace at the water’s edge.
Tenders and toys are handled with equal care. A side garage with transverse launching accommodates a Williams DieselJet 625 or a tender up to 6.32m (20.7ft) in length, an arrangement more common on larger yachts. The space is complemented by an additional forward hangar for toys or a rescue boat. A Technohull Explorer 40 serves as the chase boat, while the garage arrangement makes launching straightforward and keeps service traffic away from guest spaces.
Interior Design
Inside, the tone shifts toward softness, tactility and a sense of lived-in comfort. The asymmetrical layout expands space where it matters most: on the main deck, the saloon absorbs the starboard side deck to run full beam, while dining is offset to port and framed by curved glazing instead of bulkheads. The result is a flow that feels unorthodox but natural, with light pouring in through oversized windows.
The interiors of the first SD132 were also styled by Zuccon International Project, creating continuity between exterior and interior. Their approach leans into earth-inspired colours and natural textures, designed to create sensory connection with the yacht. Stone-like cement finishes, dark and light woods in contrast, and fabric selections chosen as much for sustainability as for character, all build up a mood that is authentic and welcoming. Bathrooms continue this philosophy, with serpeggiante avorio marble sinks left rough at the edges to preserve their tactile honesty.
Materials throughout avoid high polish in favour of depth and honesty. Linen upholstery, honeycomb-textured carpets, woven leather ottomans and oak flooring create warmth without formality. Satin-finished brass door handles resist fingerprints, fluted glass panels add rhythm in the guest cabins, and crinkled linens sidestep the need for meticulous upkeep. A forward bulkhead panel by artist Alice Corbetta adds a sculptural counterpoint, mixing cement and resin into a raw, tactile surface.
The bridge follows the same quiet logic, with a leaning post instead of a helm chair to encourage alertness at the controls. A folding balcony off the bridge deck saloon strengthens the connection with the sea, in a spot where outdoor access is rarely found.
Dining options are spread across three decks. On the main deck, two separate settings allow for flexibility, while the upper and bridge decks each offer their own table with a different outlook. The galley is placed for efficient service, whether relaxed family meals or more formal occasions.
Accommodation
Andiamo accommodates up to 12 guests across five cabins. The main deck owner’s suite measures 55sq/m (592sq/ft) and spans the yacht’s full beam. Large windows pivot outward for natural ventilation and views, while two private balconies open directly onto the sea. The suite includes a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom, though layouts can be adapted: the bed orientation can be shifted, or the space reconfigured into an office or gym.
Four guest cabins are located on the lower deck, each with its own ensuite. Fluted glass panels, soft linens and tactile finishes echo the design language of the main saloon. Crew quarters are also on the lower deck, designed for up to 8, and include a separate dinette and laundry facilities to support smooth service and efficient operations. Circulation paths ensure privacy between guest and crew areas.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32 Acert) 1,622hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Andiamo is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 11,095 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,200 nautical miles at 11 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
