Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7m beam and a 2.15m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 199 GT (Gross Tonnes).
She was completed at Azimut's Fano yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Exterior Design
Designed by Ken Freivokh, Aria is part of the Azimut Magellano 30M series, a yacht that sits between a traditional long-range cruiser and a contemporary superyacht. Her profile combines explorer-style proportions with a much softer, more elegant treatment than many yachts in this category. The vertical bow, high freeboard and deep side decks create a confident offshore look, while the sweeping superstructure and extensive glazing prevent the yacht from feeling heavy.
The grey hull and white superstructure give Aria a clean, modern appearance. Large sections of dark glazing stretch along the hull and superstructure, helping to reduce visual bulk while filling the interior with natural light. Signature teak louvres along the upper structure add texture and a classic nautical touch that has become a defining feature of the Magellano range.
The foredeck is one of the yacht's best outdoor spaces. A jacuzzi sits ahead of the wheelhouse with uninterrupted views forward, accompanied by a large sunpad and seating area. The position feels private and protected thanks to the raised bulwarks around the deck edge.
Aft, the decks step gradually towards the water, creating a very nice connection between the social areas and the sea. Glass balustrades maintain open sightlines, while the beach club and Infinity Terrace arrangement provide a large waterside platform for swimming, launching toys or simply relaxing close to the water.
The upper deck continues the long-range cruising theme with plenty of outdoor living space. A shaded lounge and bar sit beneath the hardtop, while additional sunpads aft provide excellent views. Deep side walkways run the length of the yacht, adding a practical benefit for owners who intend to cruise extensively rather than spend most of their time in marinas.
Interior Design
Aria's interior was created by Vincenzo De Cotiis and takes a different approach from many yachts in this size range. Rather than relying on high contrast finishes or decorative detailing, the design uses light woods, soft tones and carefully selected materials to create a calm, contemporary atmosphere.
The main saloon is bright and welcoming. Wide windows on both sides bring in excellent natural light and create a strong connection with the sea outside. Cream furnishings and pale timber finishes give the space an open feel, while the minimalist styling allows the architecture and views to take centre stage.
Forward, an elegant marble dining table seats eight guests within the same open-plan space. The arrangement creates a natural flow between lounging, dining and the aft deck without unnecessary divisions between areas.
The upper deck offers another comfortable social space with a large sofa and television lounge positioned behind sliding glass doors. This provides a useful secondary saloon that can serve as a quiet retreat, family room or evening entertainment area. Forward, the wheelhouse remains easily accessible while still maintaining guest privacy.
Throughout the yacht, more than 70m² (753ft²) of glazing helps create a bright and airy atmosphere. The effect is particularly noticeable when underway, where panoramic views remain a constant part of the onboard experience.
Accommodation
Aria accommodates up to 10 guests in five en suite cabins and carries up to 6 crew.
The owner's suite occupies a prime position on the main deck. Large windows bring in plenty of daylight, while the separation from the guest accommodation below creates excellent privacy. The suite follows the same restrained design language as the rest of the yacht, with light finishes and clean lines creating a relaxed atmosphere.
Four additional guest cabins are located on the lower deck. Each benefits from its own en suite bathroom and a layout designed to maximise personal space and privacy. The arrangement works equally well for family cruising or entertaining multiple guest couples.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12-1900) 1,900hp engines, motor yacht Aria is capable of reaching a top speed of 24 knots, and comfortably cruises at 18 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
