Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.7m beam. The yacht has an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was completed at Damen Yachting's Antalya yard in Turkey where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Exterior Design
The Damen 5306 Yacht Support uses the same YS 53 platform, and its design puts function first while keeping a clean, balanced profile. At 53.25m (175ft), the hull runs long and low with a near-vertical bow, so it handles offshore conditions with confidence and keeps deck space free for its main role.
The aft deck is the centrepiece, and it is set up as a large, open working area that can carry tenders, submersibles or vehicles. A heavy-duty crane sits to port and allows direct launch and recovery, while integrated securing points run across the deck so equipment can be fixed in place for passage. This layout keeps operations simple and efficient, and it leaves clear space for different mission setups.
Forward, the superstructure rises across multiple levels and sits well clear of the working deck, so the usable area aft remains uninterrupted. Deep overhangs provide shade along the walkways, and the elevated bridge gives wide visibility across both the foredeck and aft operations. The mast above carries radar and communication systems in a compact arrangement.
Side decks run wide and clear from bow to stern, so crew can move easily between zones, and the foredeck is kept uncluttered with flush anchoring gear and clean lines.
Interior Design
Inside, Damen 5306 follows a practical layout that supports long-range use, while still allowing for comfortable guest areas. The wheelhouse spans the full beam and connects directly to the exterior decks, so handling and visibility remain straightforward in all conditions.
The main deck interior sits just aft of the bridge, and it links directly to an exterior dining and lounge space. This arrangement keeps the social areas close to the aft deck while maintaining separation from working operations. Large windows run along the main deck, so natural light fills the interior and outward views remain open even when the deck carries equipment.
Accommodation
Damen 5306 accommodates up to eight guests, and it also supports a crew of 10 plus the captain, so the yacht can operate independently over long distances.
